Ruth was not only rude, but condescending. She criticized me for not taking better care of my teeth, pulled teeth and said she was doing me a favor fitting me in, and rescheduled me knowing I was in a lot of pain. She rescheduled me for being horse though I explained I was losing my voice because I was a summer camp councilor and had no signs or symptoms being sick. She said she couldnt afford to get sick and wouldnt risk it.

This appointment, after I questioned the treatment plan because it's been difficult missing teeth, she brought up that she had to get paid for the denture and she needed to run it through insurance before starting the procedure. I asked why it hadn't been run through insurance when she pulled the teeth 6 weeks ago. She just kept saying it hadn't. Instead of talking me through and giving me a timeline, She refused saying she was going to refer me out and I could leave.

She told me to turn around when I was questioning the supplies on the tray because the denture supplies weren't up there. She had an unsheethed needle sitting on the tray as well. Overall, it has been the WORST dental experience with the NASTIEST lady I have ever met.

I had a really great experience. Honestly, I’m a dentist girl. I’ve never been afraid to go, I love going. I take pride in my dental health so having a good dentist and dental team is key. The staff was very pleasant, followed all of the necessary precautions to make sure we stayed safe.

I feel bad because I’m a boring patient, never had a real issue and this visit was no different. Staff was very chatty and knowledgeable, I felt comfortable with the women who administered my care and will definitely be back in six months for a check up. If you’re looking for a new dentist I would highly recommend. Great location, great atmosphere all around an awesome time.

I stopped going there years ago when I found that the whole office and dentistry seems to be dysfunctional. I for instance ask for a certain type of night guard but the next visit I went she acted like she had no idea what what I was talking about and said "we didn't discuss that". Try to rope me in to getting all 28 of my teeth capped but I went to another dentist and only needed 10 Capped. When I transferred to another dentistI asked to get a copy of my one page file and the office manager snarkily handed it to me and charged me $20 for a piece of paper.

The office staff seem to have no idea about how to access files or give you a copy of anything and complain about how hard it is to find a file for you. Later I saw a lawsuit against her in a Google search. I believe my experience is that her expertise in dentistry is very limited. I'm so glad I got out of the grasp of these people.

I've since had my teeth capped only 10 Capps not 28 like she wanted to do and I've been very happy with my new dentist.

I took my then 6 year old daughter to Dr. Cauthen some years ago. She was quite rude & unwelcoming & judging by the most recent reviews she hasn't changed. Needless to say I found another 100% more competent, satisfactory & great attitude dentist.
