Worst experience ever, half of deep cleaning done only, paid around 100 bucks for their miscellaneous fees, no one advised me that next time I come back for the other half I’ll have to pay same price. I thought the $100 covered my part of the copay and miscellaneous fees for both sides. A lot of miscommunication from the staff, just so we have to thicken their pockets

I had the absolute worst experience at this dental office and will never be returning. From the start, it was uncomfortable. During the X-rays, the metal device they used was sharp and painful, and the way they made me bite down was unbearable. To make matters worse, the staff taking the pictures were speaking in Spanish over my head the entire time, which felt unprofessional and made me feel excluded. Before they even began the cleaning, they took my blood pressure, which I found odd since no other dentist has ever done this during a routine visit. It felt unnecessary and made me even more uncomfortable. After the pictures, a lady came in to discuss my teeth, which was fine until she suddenly launched into a speech about mouth cancer and tried to charge me for an oral cancer screening. I was only there for a standard cleaning covered by my insurance, including the usual fluoride treatment at the end.

When I declined the cancer screening, she started aggressively poking at the back of my gums with a metal pick, causing significant pain. She then claimed I had gingivitis after only cleaning half of my mouth. She used a metal pick so hard that my gums started to bleed lightly, and by the end of the cleaning, I had a cut at the back of my mouth from her aggressive scraping. She insisted on charging me $140 to finish cleaning the other half of my mouth, saying, “if insurance isn’t covering, I ain’t doing it. ” This was beyond frustrating, as I have always taken excellent care of my teeth and have never been told I had gingivitis in my regular six-month checkups with other dentists. Despite my obvious discomfort and my decision to decline the gingivitis cleaning, she continued pressuring me, saying other dentists wouldn’t tell me about these issues. I was in tears by this point because I’ve always been diligent about my oral hygiene—brushing twice a day, flossing every morning, and using a mouthwash recommended by my previous dentist. The cleaning itself was rushed, lasting about 10 minutes, and when they told me they would apply fluoride, they wanted to charge me an extra $14.

At every other dentist I’ve been to, fluoride is included as part of a standard cleaning. The dentist who briefly examined me spent only two minutes looking at my teeth, poked at one spot, and left. One staff member with large glasses and an intimidating demeanor made the entire experience even more unsettling. After leaving this office, I was so upset I called my mom crying and immediately sought a second opinion at a highly-rated dental practice. The second dentist confirmed that my teeth and gums were perfectly healthy, with no signs of gingivitis. This place is a complete scam. They pressured me into unnecessary treatments, gave me a rushed and incomplete cleaning, and tried to charge for everything that should have been included. Avoid this office at all costs!

3 visits. Each time has been a breeze. cleaning the first visit, gentle and fresh. A filling on my two front teeth for the second visit, didn’t feel a thing and my smile is shining! Third was a root canal in the back, quick and painless. Dr. DeMarco is always fantastic.

Awesome hygienist! Knowledgeable, helpful & very friendly. I had a great cleaning, but I will never see her again. She was an independent filling in for the day. The only complaint I have is that I never see the same hygienist twice. It seems there is a revolving door when it comes to hygienist. It's worrisome.
