Here is my truth. I am very disappointed in my orthodontist. Elise promised me a perfect smile in a certain amount of time- I had to wear invisalign WAY longer than what was anticipated- and then even after that they rushed me to finish because I was well over the prediction date. I did not want braces, hence the opt to do invisalign- and told I was the perfect candidate. I was given a year and a half prediction rate for them- went way over- and then got bullied into getting braces. I had braces for months- and then got a permanent retainer.

I was still unhappy with my smile, and the ortho told me that "everyone is different and you cant make it perfect". Is that not the point of dropping thousands of dollars? To have a smile you like? I have proof of all of this. Also- Not even 3 weeks after the permanent retainer was installed- the upper retainer broke off- and i couldn't reach anyone for days. My teeth began to gap, and when i went in I was told it was my fault. Needless to say, I'm really upset with this experience. I grew up with little money and payed out of pocket for this and I was not happy with this experience.

Also my teeth are STILL crooked. Just like I texted the ortho, WITH PHOTOS. Beware.

Dr. Elise Boersma and her team are phenomenal! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and comfortable. She took the time to explain my son's treatment plan thoroughly and she has a high level of expertise in her field. Her office is run so efficiently there was never a time where we had to wait! I highly recommend this practice to anyone considering orthodontic treatment.
