Thinking I had an infection and needing a drain I walked into his office moaning so loud from the pain from my neck to my forehead. Dr. Shuster who I never met relieved my pain with injections. This wonderful dentist told me it was my jaw and said to go straight to Westchester Medical Center. I can’t thank you enough Dr. Shuster. You certainly are brilliant.

ATTENTION! * DO NOT GO HERE! *SCAMMERS* My 63 year old mother came for an emergency tooth extraction. We were referred to here by our health insurance. This dentist office told us to pay them $350 dollars and when they get paid from the Insurance that they would return us our money. Insurance paid them in full and told us they were trying to over charge 3 times more what the extraction cost and that they weren't supposed to ask us for any money.
We contacted them to get our money back and they began dodging our calls, being rude and cut offish, saying they already sent a check (with no tracking number) and that they don't know what happened. We went to the office and only received more rude and obnoxious behavior saying they don't know and I quote "Who are you". We told them we're going to the dental department of New York to complain and then they call us saying "oh we must have the address wrong". Till this day even with CORRECT address written and given the second time to them we never received any check.
Completely robbed.

I was referred to Dr Harvey Shuster for my front two teeth implants. The process was complicated due to limited bone tissue. Dr Shuster’s confident demeanour, deft judgment and skillful execution made the implants perfect. “You have magical hands” was my immediate reaction. Thanks for the flawlessly executed implant surgery, Dr Sushter!

This is a letter I sent to Dr. Harvey L Shuster DDS Dear Dr. Harvey L. Shuster: I am writing to you regarding my daughter, Amanda Zappier, whose wisdom teeth you extracted on April 12, 2012. Now 35 years old, Amanda may not stand out in your memory after all this time, but the choices you made during that brief interaction have had profound and lasting repercussions on her life. Your decision to prescribe a staggering 60 oxycodone pills for her recovery was not just excessive; it was a critical misstep that set off a devastating chain reaction. For nearly a month—from April 12 to May 4, 2012—she was given opioids that she simply did not need and could have navigated with basic over-the-counter pain relief, like Advil.
The consequences of that prescription were catastrophic. What began as a pain management solution spiraled into a long and harrowing battle with addiction. Amanda’s journey has taken her through ten years of drug abuse, propelling her from your prescription to heroin, then onto crack, meth, cocaine, and GHB. Her struggle is extensive; it includes multiple detoxification attempts, rehab stints, and inpatient treatments across the nation. She has faced countless emergency room visits, and I have had to administer Narcan to her three times to save her life. As her parents, my husband and I have poured countless thousands of dollars into trying to help her find sobriety, a struggle that can be traced back to your negligence. It is heartbreaking to think that with a more cautious approach, all of this could have been avoided.
While it may be easy for you to distance yourself from the consequences of your actions, I cannot. The damage inflicted on Amanda’s life will never fade. While God may offer you forgiveness, I find it impossible to extend that same mercy to you. In conclusion, I took the time to write you a letter and send you an email, but I didn’t receive the courtesy of a response. I trust that karma will come your way. Antonietta Zappier
