Dr. Barth and her assistant Luz did a great job removing my teeth. It didn’t hurt at all and was fast process, the both are professional and humans. That’s what we need on health point, thank you so much. 👏🏼👏🏼

I started going here when I was pregnant last year because I couldn't afford a better doctor. I didn't have any problems with my doctor or most of his nurses. I have a few problems with this place but what ruins it the most is the reception. They're terrible. They don't care, they act like they don't have time for you and they're just rude. There's a man who works in reception. If you go here, then you'll know who I'm talking about because he's always there and I think he's the only man. One of my first times going here, he told me I can't just come up to the counter, I have to sign in and they'll call me up. Okay, no problem. So that's what I did from then on. He failed to call me up two times after that. The first time, I waited for 45 minutes (because, yes, it sometimes takes that long). When I finally went up, he acted like I had done something wrong by not coming up sooner.
He said, "Your appointment is over. " I told him I had signed in and they just didn't call me up. He again told me that my appointment was over and tried to get me to reschedule. Um, no. I was nine months pregnant at this point and I had to give up a Thanksgiving family thing to be at the appointment, so I didn't want to leave without seeing the doctor. Someone behind him told him that the person after me hadn't shown up, so they gave me her spot. The doctor said he was just sitting downstairs waiting on me but he wasn't surprised when I told him why I was late. Today was the second time. I had signed in 20 minutes before my appointment was supposed to start. A few minutes before 10am (my appointment time), a beautiful woman in a tight dress walked up to the counter and started signing in. He said, "Do you have an appointment? I can help you. " And he ignored those of us who were there earlier and helped her. A line formed behind her of people just coming in.
After that woman was finished, he started to talk to the next person in line but I jumped up and told him we had signed in earlier. He looked at the paper and then acted frustrated with me, like I was bothering him by doing what I was supposed to do. He was again rude the whole time, trying to make it my fault. I'm sure that working at this clinic is difficult and exhausting, but I wasn't being rude or difficult and I did nothing wrong, so there was no reason for him to act like that. If he had just said, "Oh, I'm sorry about that. I can help you now," that would've been perfect. But I guess if he had any customer service skills, he'd be working at a better clinic. We ended up not being able to do the appointment because he was going to make us pay full price even though we've already brought our pay stubs and have been allowed to get a reduced price. He said they didn't have a record of the pay stubs now. After we left, we decided to just pay out of pocket at another clinic if we need anything. This place is trash.

I am writing a review because some of the negative reviews I saw almost made me not want to come here but now that I’ve had a comp and some dental work done, I think it’s safe to say don’t be steered away based on the reviews lol: I work locally and my dental insurance doesn’t have a lot of options for dentists in the area. Normally we have to head to the city and I just hate driving across the bridge if I can help it lol. I personally have worked in dental for 10 years in the past yet still have pretty high dental anxiety. I came here for the convenience despite the reviews as my experience always tells me to take bad reviews with a grain of salt. I figured it’ll be easy to find another doctor across the bridge if it’s truly a bad time. It wasn’t at all. While the office isn’t a “high end” dental office with tons of extra frills, like decorations, fountains and “spa services”, I found it to be very clean and well kept and professional. The staff is super friendly and sweet even though I haven’t seen a doctor in a long time and was frankly embarrassed by my teeth’s current state.
I never felt judged or pressured for unnecessary treatment like some of the “fancier” offices tend to push. The appointments for treatment and cleanings you DO have to wait weeks for but this might be because the office sees all types of insurances and has a lot of patients as a result. I’m okay to wait - my situation was not an emergency. I could tell that if someone is having an emergency the staff accommodates them based on some of the other patients in the waiting room not having an appointment and the receptionists scheduling them in any way. I never had long waiting room times in all my visits maybe 10 minutes max, and didn’t wait very long for anything actually. My latest filling was done impressively well compared to other assistants and doctors I’ve seen in the past. They made sure it was well adjusted before I left and worked on it to be comfortable so I could avoid going back for future adjustments. I have almost no pain aside from some normal soreness.
I was in and out in less than an hour. The front desk staff has super talented receptionists who can speak multiple languages and help many patients. It’s a huge office with many different types of doctors so it seems like a one stop shop for anyone. I’ll definitely be seeing other doctors here in the future. I am going to be recommending this place to my coworkers as well since finding a dentist nearby seems to be a challenge.

The older woman with cropped gray hair at the receptionist desk was so rude. I walked in to get a tooth pulled and she turned to the woman beside her and said, "I can't handle another walk in. " Why work somewhere that welcomes walk ins then? The woman next to her kept telling her to take deep breaths. She also kept slamming her pen down every time she wrote some of my information down. She acted extremely uncalled for.
I couldn't believe it. I don't see how walks ins affect her so personally. She absolutely needs a new job.
