People are very nice to me there. I just want to give a very objective feedback hoping it will be useful for people thinking of coming here/using Invisalign. My case was complicated, i have open bite, and my upper and lower parts are all a mess. I spent about 3 years(2014-2017) correcting here. In the end, I still have an open bite and my lower part wasn’t quite fixed, the only thing changed was my upper part.
Given that I have spent 3 years and around 5k dollars, and still couldnt see a drastic change, it was a bit disappointing. I couldn’t continue my fixing since I moved out of town after year 3. But it did take 3 years and my problems haven’t been fixed. There will be no reimbursement if it couldn’t fix completely. Now if I want to do it again in my new town, I have to pay also a high price.
If I could do it again, I would probably not use Invisalign and would use a traditional bracelet. I had nothing towards them, they were trying even though the result is not promising, I just want to share my experience for future clients.

The atmosphere in the office is tense and uncomfortable. The hygienist is bullying and uses microaggressions to control and exert power over patients. As an example, she tells you to gargle then goes away leaving you with nothing to spit into and unsure what to do. She leans the patient chair so far back that all the blood rushes to your head. When you ask if the chair can be adjusted she snaps “I can only work with what I have. ” Yet, the chair has been demonstrated to be working fine and could easily be adjusted for increased comfort. She “accidentally” punctures your gums multiple times in a “cleaning” session. She shames patients for not flossing constantly and gets a strange smile when offering criticism (unable to hide the clear pleasure she is taking in demeaning her patients.
) The whole atmosphere of the place is one of fear. The chairs in the lobby are vacuumed, if not daily then multiple times a day. There are always vacuum marks on the chair seats. Always. No matter what time of day you arrive. It is strange and unnatural. I have overheard the dentist and hygienist gossiping about others multiple times. Dr.
Swoverland made fun of a previous doctor I had visited in front of me and in the presence of one of his staff. He once jokingly said to me that he doesn’t like people thinking he’s a sadist. This was after a particularly uncomfortable crown replacement and his way of acknowledging the pain. Avoid this place. It feels creepy and toxic.
