I visited the N. Main office today because of a referral from my dentist. I have some Tooth Pain that she thought could need a Root Canal. The staff was very welcoming and informative. They were also prompt, which is important to me. Emily was the tech who guided me through the imaging of my mouth. She was very kind. I then saw Dr. Estes who conducted the actual testing on my teeth.

She was thorough and listened to all of my concerns. She also answered any questions I had, and I had quite a few. It turned out that the source of my pain was difficult to pinpoint. Dr. Estes didn't just randomly say"we'll do a root canal and hope for the best. " She made some suggestions for alternative causes such as sinusitis and ways to deal with that. If it turns out that I need their services in the future, I won't hesitate to go back.

I want to start off with im not the typical patient im the 1%. I did extensive research and chose Dr Estes and her team for this Root Canal for a reason and now I regret it because she didn't stand by her word to help me if anything went wrong. During my consult I made it very clear i was not the typical patient, i burn through meds and novocane very quickly and I always have issues so I have learned to make sure there was adequate preparation, Which they were very prepared thankfully they listened because guess what the meds wore off not 1x but 2x during the procedure. So fast forward to 3 weeks post op im still feeling some throbbing pain and since i have had issues with this tooth until this point i want to make sure there was nothing concerning because she told me i shouldn't feel pain. They got me in pretty quickly, i discuss with Dr. Estes that i have throbbing pain and everything went downhill from there. . . i was pretty much dismissed in what i was feeling.

I was told no one ever told her that before and that it was pretty much in my head because if i think positive its going to heal and be fine. (thats what her seminar told her) This is EXACTLY why i make sure its clear im NOT like everyone else. I was pretty much asking and begging what can we do? maybe another xray? what? she said too early for xrays and just repacked my hole and sent me on my way with no future concerns. So now more than a month post op I have shooting pain and throbbing and I AM SUFFERING AND SHE JUST LEFT me to suffer. Instead of okay your still in pain its been a few weeks now lets do an X-ray and exam or something, maybe its an infection, maybe a canal that was hiding. Nope Nothing. She got her money-she doesn't care I was just another number. I scrapped up what I could to have this root canal too. and someone I put my trust in to take care of me.

clearly i made a huge mistake im worse off now than i was beforehand and being dismissed of what I was feeling as opposed to how everyone else feels is complacency and anyone in these fields should be aware of that word because thats what hurts people. The biggest thing I can ever say is not everyone is the same and not everything is black and white sometimes there are gray and we have to figure it out not just dismiss what someone feels. Im almost 50 not 5 and walking out of that office feeling let down by someone i thought was gonna have my back is something disappointing to say the least. So for all the perfect 5 stars im so glad u had no complications but i needed this to be out there and seen. As a doctor or Dentist or Surgeon you cant just put up your hands and walk away from someone that needs help. It is your duty to help them. Her response is they take this seriously well I never received a call to say come back now lets check since ample time has passed to rule out those concerns. Instead im being pushed off to a pain management doctor.

When I first walked in I was instantly comforted by their lobby. Comfy seating and cute snack/ drink bar. I saw they offered multiple things to help the experience better! I have extremely bad anxiety and had a panic attack while my procedure was being done. Dr Estes and Madison helped calm me down, and made me feel safe.

Both of them comforted me and didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience. Could not recommend them enough. All of the staff is kind and welcoming!

Let's start out with the "Good" stuff. The facility is super clean & inviting and the Moncks Corner location is really in a super convenient spot located between Moncks Corner, Goose Creek and Summerville (Carnes Cross Road). Now let me tell you about the "Best" stuff! I came in for a "consultation" on a Thursday for a possible Root Canal at 10:30am expecting to have to get an appointment for the actual procedure the following week. Lo and behold, I got a call about 2 hours later from the super friendly & very professional Patient Care Coordinator, Lucy, that she had an opening just come available that same day at 4:30 pm.

I was in a good bit of pain, so of course I accepted it. I have had a root canal done many years ago and it wasn't pleasant at all. After I arrived, Madison, Dr Estes' Assistant, made sure I was settled in the chair and went over the basics of what Dr Estes would be doing & gave me the coolest purple sunglasses to wear. Dr Estes came in with lots of energy, she was friendly & very confident that she was "changing the reputation of the root canal," (their Slogan).

She assured me, it would be pretty painless and maybe just a tiny bit uncomfortable. Well, to be honest, I didn't even feel the anesthesia injections. It went so well, I was home eating ice cream by 5:30pm with zero pain! Dr Estes and her Team are amazing and I would highly recommend Innovative Endodontics to anyone!
