I LOVE Irmo Smiles!!! I started bringing my children there just because of the cool kids room I saw online. I was blown away by how friendly everyone was and how clean and professional the office was. I then decided to start going myself and have been extremely happy there. Irmo Smiles has the best service and staff of any other place I have been before. It starts when you walk in the door; everyone makes you feel important and like royalty. I highly recommend!!! I LOVE Ashley. .

I broke my front tooth late Tuesday afternoon around 3:30pm. I moved to Columbia SC about 1 year ago. I have not made it a priority to find a new dentist. I have passed Irmo Smiles many times traveling around town. I always commented on how nice the office looked and would say to myself, "I need to make an appointment at Irmo Smiles to have my teeth cleaned". Well, unfortunately I needed a dentist for an emergency procedure before I established myself as a patient at a local dentist office. I called Irmo Smiles on Tuesday after 3:30 pm and explained what I needed. The front office was very professional and also calming. I provided the details of my emergency and was pleasantly surprised they were willing to work me in on Wednesday morning. Lorraine in the front office greeted me Wednesday morning, provided a tour of the dental office and gave background information on the over 90 years of experience between the 3 dentists who were the providers at Irmo Smiles.

Robin, the dental hygienist who worked with me has been at Irmo Smiles for over 13 years. Robin was kind, funny and very professional. Robin explained the procedure to me and began prepping my tooth for the temporary crown ( My front tooth. . . yikes, it was concerning to me that the crown might not match my other teeth). Robin assured me, they only use a state of the art lab and my permanent crown would be a perfect match. I then met Dr. Raman and she was a delight. I have never met a more personable, beautiful dentist (not just outer beauty but inner beauty) in my life.

I felt like I had know Robin and Dr. Raman for many years. The procedure was painless and great care was given to make sure my temporary crown looked natural. Robin went above and beyond to shape my temporary crown as close as possible to my other front tooth. I have found my new dentist. I have always taken great care of my teeth and have had several dentists throughout my life. I have never been so impressed with a dentist and the staff that assist with patients, as I was today. I recommend Irmo Smiles to anyone new to the Columbia SC area or anyone looking to replace a current dentist who just doesn't meet your standards. Thank you Irmo Smiles!!

Around October I had a cavity filled and what they call a cap tooth done. I had paid for everything they told me the insurance would not cover.

Then today, I get a call from the office confirming an appointment I had and the lady explained that I still owed almost $300! I am confused on how that came about, after the money I paid and filing through the insurance? I will never again step foot in this office to have any type of work done since I only had a tooth filled not restored and have to pay this amount! I will say that the staff is very nice and helpful when I went to my appointment.

This place will tell you your insurance is accepted and that your appointment has been paid for when really, they are out of network for damn near every provider, like another review said they will leave a balance on your account forcing you to pay it next time you come in, and try to take the money from your insurance company as well, the financials of this place are awful.
