My children have been patients of Island Smiles since 2010. They love going to the dentist!! Everyone is professional and always helpful with anything that is needed. The office is always clean and the atmosphere is family oriented.

Dr. Furbert is the BEST!! She is so knowledgeable, has the best spirit and in my experience readily available especially when emergencies arise. I highly recommend anyone with children to use the dentist office!!!!

Waste of my time! First receptionist doesn't check us in when we get there till an hour later when we tell her that 4 kids got here after us and been already called. 30 more minutes pass and finally taken to a room. Doctor comes in doesn't even say hi or anything. She tells the assistant she won't see him because he is crying and walks out with out saying anything to me. At this point I just leave because I wasted 3hours for her not to even try to calm him down and do treatment. I finally found a different place.

Everyone is so sweet and nice we are seen at our appointment time. Doctor comes in greets us and my son is crying and he starts playing and making my son happy and he gets the treatment done with out my son crying. After that my son wouldn't leave him alone. They were professional unlike this place! ! We were there 30minutes in and out. ! I will never recommend anyone to this place.

I am incredibly impressed by Dr. Furber and her staff. From the time we walked in the receptionist was very friendly and present, when she walked us back to the room she answered all of my 8 yr old questions happily. When the doc came in she started off by showing me on the computer screen exactly what she would be doing and how. But what I was truly impressed with was how she calmly talked and sang my son through the very uncomfortable procedure.

Dr. Furber was meant to be a Children's Dentist. She and her assistant are truly amazing. I also want to say that there are alot of bad reviews for unprofessionalism and issues with calling. I cant imagine any of these people being unprofessional although its possible there was a change in staff since those reviews? As far as the phone issues, yes it can be difficult to get through BUT they always call back.

Keep in mind this is a small business practice with a small amount of staff and only 1 receptionist. Either way I dont think a phone issue alone is cause for 1 star especially considering how great they are in every other aspect.

Can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Both my kids were late on dental work trying to find a dentist to take Medicaid. I took a shot today and walked in here and it was the best decision.

They got them both in today, cleaned and did X-rays. My oldest has terrible anxiety and they worked so well with her and showed so much kindness and patience. Highly recommend this place to any and everyone, such kind staff
