I had two wisdom teeth extracted and the whole experience was actually a pleasure. What I had a lot of anxiety over ended up being for nothing. Dr. Menoff was kind and helpful and the whole procedure was mostly pain free. Thank you for taking care of me!

My boyfriend went in this past Thursday for a full mouth extraction, he came out sobbing, stating that he could feel everything and when he told menoff he could feel it he ignored him. His mouth is a mess, his sutures are already falling out, he still has pieces of teeth in his gums, the inside of his upper lips was cut when there was no need. Menoff is absolutely careless and heartless to his patients.

I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. If I could give 0 stars I would

Had an emergent need for wisdom teeth extractions (4) since I was in my 2nd trimester of my last pregnancy. It was made clear to me that it’s only safe to do those sorts of procedures while in the 2nd trimester. They held off until the 3rd trimester then told me they’d have me come in multiple times sound only get 1 tooth extracted at a time because “it’s safer” (which to make clear- THAT IS THE MOST DANGEROUS THING TO DO). I didn’t get my wisdom teeth extracted until March (8 months later because they kept pushing it out or cancelling my appointments). Since the extractions- I’ve been having complication after complication.

I followed all the rules and care instructions yet somehow still got all 4 dry sockets. He packed them with a brown medicated paste and when I explained I could feel myself biting on something he dismissed me. A couple hours later, the entire packing came out. I went back in the next day to see if it needed repacked and he didn’t do it. I found out my gums were sliced to other molars (which makes no sense), I had several locations OTHER than the extraction site that had sutures, the sutures did absolutely nothing except leave 4 giant gum flaps and open holes in my mouth, it’s been weeks and I’ve been in constant pain, I’ve had to go to the hospital to get an NG Tube (feeding tube through my nose) because the only thing safe enough to eat is mashed potatoes STILL when I should’ve been able to bite into other foods weeks ago but the amount of complication and damage done to my gums and remaining teeth are extremely risky and painful (tried yesterday and felt like breaking my teeth).

If a piece of potato gets in the socket area I end up screaming in pain involuntarily. There’s so much wrong with the post-op results that I’m genuinely terrified to go back AGAIN. Also/ he tells you he’ll knock you out for it but then the DAY of the procedure he tells you he’s keeping you awake. But if you try to let the laughing gas calm you down enough, he will shut it off so you’re completely aware and feel it more. It’s AWFUL!!!

The receptionists are extremely rude, unprofessional, and incompetent. I really don't understand how they still have jobs. They cancel appointments without asking them to. They hang up on you. They screen phone numbers and won't answer your call if they feel you are getting rude with them when merely asking them to clarify something. They are short and rude.

Oh believe me I understand they are overwhelmed with people needing dental care since they are the ONLY extraction place in Chautauqua County that accepts Medicaid. However that is no excuse for how they do their JOB. Nor is it ok to treat people this way who are depending on them for medical care and happen to only have Medicaid. As for actual procedures here . . .

My daughter nor I have ever left this practice without pain, soreness, long recovery times or shards of teeth needing plucked from gums. For years we thought this was our only option for extractions. NOT ANYMORE! Found a wonderful family dentist is Buffalo that accepts Medicaid. They answer the phone professionally and KINDLY. They answer all our questions and concerns. They don't take months to get appointments or Medicaid approval for procedures ( including partials and Dentures) My daughter had two extractions yesterday with no pain, and no stitches! That she has waited for menoff to do for the last 3 years! Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves for how you treat this community and I hope you get your doors closed soon believe ME I'll be making some calls to see if I can help close them !
