Dr. Harry E. Jenkins is a highly experienced Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with over 31 years in the dental field. Dr. Jenkins is a native of Portsmouth, Virginia. He pursued his pre-med studies at Hampton University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, and then obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee. Following dental school, he completed a general practice residency at Hubbard Hospital, where he served as chief resident. Before establishing his current practice, Dr. Jenkins worked alongside his father, Dr. Harry L. Jenkins, at Jenkins Dental Group, and later at Coast Dental in Chesapeake's Greenbrier area. He purchased this practice in April 2004, becoming its owner and sole proprietor.
