We were loyal clients for nearly 5 years and it was usually good but as soon as you leave for legitimate moving/relocation reasons (we left due to having moved and deciding finally to stop making the 40 min commute back there/find a local dentist), it totally changes. We had to call/text at least 10 times to ask to transfer our records and it NEVER got done until I physically walked in there to ask for them! Even then they only gave me very partial, incomplete records! Additionally, we were owed a refund for having been overcharged prior to the EOB coming back from insurance and my husband and I called/texted many, many times about this. Each time (for both issues) we were told it was done but it wasn’t and given silly excuses.

I gave 2 stars because it was decent while we were there (4-5) but a very difficult/time consuming experience (0 stars) of staff claiming they’d sent our records but clearly hadn’t when we were in the process of leaving.

This is honestly the best dentistry practice in Harrisonburg, hands down. I had two painless visits and Rebecca, the dental assistant, made sure I was calm and comfortable throughout the whole process. I would 100% recommend Ken Copeland to a friend or anyone needing gentle and experienced dental care.

Another time Dr Ken has fixed my broken (literally) smile. This past Friday, a day his practice isn't normally open, he and his lead dental tech came in to fix my broken tooth. They worked two hours just on me because it was a day I could be there. I can't tell you how grateful I am to have a dentist who would do this just because he cares about his patients.

If you want the best, hands down dental practice then call Ken Copeland Family Dentistry and you will be so glad you did. They truly make you feel like family. Also he is the best at administering anesthesia. I don't even feel it! So take my advice if you want the best family practice around!
