Dr. Young is one of the most down to earth dentists that I have met. I used to be a patient of his back when I was a teen (over 10 years ago) while he practiced at UT. I had to seek another dentist due to changing jobs and obtaining different dental insurance. I had some work done last week at a different dentist, and it wasn’t a good experience. I remembered Dr.

Young, and found him after a quick google search. After learning that they accepted my insurance, I made an appointment. I saw him today, and he was exactly as I remembered. He even remembered me and my mother after all this time. He went above and beyond by correcting work that my previous dentist done. He listens and makes sure that you are completely satisfied before he leaves the room.

The staff there are extremely nice as well. I just can’t say enough about this doctor. If anyone needs a dentist in the Knoxville area, Dr. Young and the staff at Knoxville Dental Center will not disappoint. Keep up the good work Dr. Young!

I’m not sure if I caught him on a bad day or what, but I did not have a good experience with Dr. Young. I felt very belittled while I was crying in pain. My complaints were not taken seriously at all. I told the staff I had extreme dental anxiety and was assured I would be in good hands. I was told my teeth were bad because I can’t control my diet.

I’ve had many health problems, including issues with excessive vomiting which is known to cause dental issues, but that was dismissed and I was told that was not the case. I do not feel like my concerns were addressed at all and I am still in a great deal of pain due to my antibiotics not getting called in. The rest of the staff was very nice. The lady at the front desk was awesome and has been amazing with getting the antibiotic finally called in and some anxiety medications for my root canal coming up. I hope my experience is better at the other location. It’s a shame to already be terrified and then treated like a child.

Anxiety is real. It’s not something anyone chooses to have. I hope in the future there is training for appropriate treatment for patients with dental anxiety. It’s not fun for us either.

I've stuck with Knoxville dental center because I find they have the kindest and gentlest hygienists I've ever had. Appointments are usually pretty quick, they do a great job. Dentists are always friendly and don't try to upsell unnecessarily.

Today I had an appointment at the Ebenezer location. The building was very new and clean and the receptionist was very nice and efficient. I had to wait maybe five minutes before going back. Dr.

Stansberry and Sarah, (the assistant/hygienist?), were both awesome and very kind. I am so glad that I came to this office! My last dental office was a nightmare and the prices here are a lot better too.
