The receptionist was extremely rude and defensive! Dr. Bridget Kozy was very dismissive as well. Luckily there are other Dentist in the state of Ohio that have a much better bed side manner and professional staff. After answering the question that I had indeed taking a Covid-19 test and for now I have a permanent cough due to me being an ex-smoker. Dr. Bridget Kozy then came to the window shortly after to ask me when I had tested and how long I've had a cough. I was then told that I must reschedule.
I tried to explain that it was just precautionary for the Holidays coming up and not because I had to be tested due to feeling ill and that I have a permanent cough due to being an ex-smoker but it fell on deaf ears alone with snide comments from the receptionist. She was very condescending when I told her that I think they may have misunderstood. The receptionist responded very defensive by stating that she wasn't going to argue with me! As if to reprimand a child or something. I understand being cautious in the times that we face but I don't think that it is good business to treat your patients (dismissively and rude. ) My voice was never raised, and I felt that she was trying to (escalate the matter. ) At this time, I asked to speak to someone else and I was told that the doctor has already talked to me and that I just need to reschedule by the receptionist. I then just asked for my records because I will not be back.
I tried calling to have an office manager or the dentist give me a call back and I was HUNG UP on by the same receptionist. Due to her demeanor I am sure that I am not the 1st patient she has done this to, and I feel it's highly likely that I won't get a return call of any sorts. Furthermore, it seems counterproductive to "except patients during the pandemic" when patients can not wear a mask to get dental work done and may have "asymptomatic Coronavirus". It would seem to me that is part of the risk and if you're going to work with the public in that manner your focus would be more on providing the proper PPE for your staff due to the spread of Coronavirus being so elusive. In the end I was extremely disappointed and do not think people should spend their money and be treated in such an unprofessional manner.

Amazing staff! I was treated so well today. Dr Bridget made my experience almost enjoyable ... I mean I was still at the dentist ☺️ but when you can leave a root canal with laughter it's a good sign there doing something right!

Awsome Dentist. Dr Bridget saw me last week for a root canal. From the time I sat down till the time I left,I felt no pain. She and her assistant where great. Thank you Dr Bridget. My tooth no longer hurts,and I can chew on that side again I highly recommend Kozy Dental Care.

I highly recommend Dr. Bridget and all at Kozy Dental Care! Bridget is professional, honest and completely patient. She presents all options clearly and discusses her suggested opinions openly. Bridget goes out of her way for her patients, comes in on days off and makes you feel at ease during any procedure.
This practice is family-owned, and you will feel right at home. In fact, I drive two hours just to see Dr. Bridget.
