La Red dental was amazing! When I was registering I did not have a dental card just insurance and the registrar took my card and offered to call my insurance. I was taken back to am exam room and the dental tech did a great great job cleaning my teeth. Dr came in and explained issue I had and had a solution to help.

When I was checking out the registrar confirmed she did get through and confirm my dental insurance. Now that is going above and beyond! Thank you, La Red Milford!!!!

Personally made my appointment. in the Georgetown Location (closest to residence);Dental exam required before getting ANY TREATMENT--even though another dentist 10 mo earlier in Alexandria, VA told me to get my decayed tooth taken care of ASAP. Receptionist:" Too bad. That's our policy. 6 months later, I get a text message my dental exam/cleaning appointment. is in Milford! Why? I went to the appointment. They took X-rays--but NOT a PANOREX or full-mouth X-ray--the Dental industry standard of practice. THEN the Dentists tells me, " We can't help you today. You need to get a release from your doctor before we clean your teeth because you had a total shoulder replacement. " What??? She continued, "And we don't do root canals here or implants. I don'[t do referrals.

You have to find your own dentist. " So. . . when I checked out, I signed a re4lease for so my records could be released for whomever I choose as a dentist. Understood. So I drove 26 miles (roundtrip) for basically nothing. And now my dentist needs a full mouth X-Ray, but my Dental Insurance won't pay because LA RED already did X-Rays so they could at least get some $$ from me for my visit. Now I have to pay $250. 00 out-of-pocket!! My NEW dentist's office called LA RED requesting they forward my records. I discover they won't release them until I go there and sign a release form!!! I already signed a release form!!! Drive another 26 mi just to sign a form? This is 2024!! Come on!! Unbelievable.

Need to talk to someone to avoid this inconvenience, so I Googled LA RED Milford--called 2 telephone #s listed--1 disconnected; 2nd a fax number!!!! WOW! SUCH INCOMPETENCE is scary! Glad I won't be having work done there!!!! Still need help. To call Georgetown, I search on my browser for LA RED Locations. Guess what? All locations of LA RED are listed with addresses and their operating hours--BUT NO PHONE #'s!! I've had lots of dental work done in my lifetime. I know quality. I was a Dental Assistant years ago. . I've never seen such poor regard for customers and company incompetence! No quality control. The customer gets the run-around with unnecessary inconvenience. When booking an appointment as a new patient, why can't the clerical staff tell you ahead of time a release iOS needed? I NEVER heard of such a thing! I'm on NO MEDICATION for my shoulder, so why hassle me? Frustrated & angry from my time and effort wasted. My recommendation: AVOID LA RED.

I just called the office for my son to get scheduled as a new patient. The women on the phone said they were taking new patients but couldn't get him in until November. Okay fine. But then she said she was sorry and i should look elsewhere. I have never in my life had someone at a doctors office tell someone they need to look elsewhere.

They had an appt in November for him but she didn't want to schedule him. Wow. Incredibly rude and unprofessional.
