I came to Dr. Laconi for a second opinion after my regular dentist told me that I had 12 cavities that needed to be drilled and filled, after my check up 6 months prior when I was told I had none. Dr. Laconi said that he didn't know what they were looking at, because he didn't see any cavities. He is very laid back, personable, and professional. I fear the dentist.

I always have, but he calms you and lets you know that he will take care of you. . . and he absolutely does. I will probably never go anywhere else.

I have been with Dr. Laconi as my dentist for over 20 years. I have always appreciated his personal and practical approach. He is honest about the procedures you need and is thoughtful about the financial cost. I love hygienist, Dr. Laconi's professional dental assistant, Marcia, the dental hygienist, and all the office staff. I highly recommend this practice.

I called the office on Sep 13 as a new patient. Knowing I would need an X-ray to diagnose an infected tooth, I was seen right away and an extraction appt made for Sep 26 to allow me time to rearrange my babysitting schedule. After the X-ray was taken, I was immediately told the dentist would be taking the tooth right away. I had expressed my concerns as well as my extreme fear of the dentist. Next thing I knew, a numbing agent was being injected into my gums. I was terrified, but tried to calm myself by thinking it would be over soon. The dentist would come check on me every once in a while by doing a test drill to see if the nerves were numb, and then I’d get a flick on the back of the head. The behavior was strange, but I didn’t know what all the drilling did, so I was also afraid to leave (and be in pain later) It took quite some time to get the tooth out, and there was a lot of blood and tooth caught in my upper lip. Over the next 8 days, the pain in my jaw kept increasing.

I knew the initial soreness would be there, but by the time I was in so much pain that Tylenol wouldn’t help, it was Thursday evening and the office was closed for the weekend. I toughed out the weekend and called first thing Monday Sep 25. The office said they could get me in next day. I explained again how much pain I was in and why it was strange they could schedule an extraction last minute, but nothing for pain. I eventually went to the dental office to try and get resolution. Instead, I had an office assistant roll her eyes at me and ask why I didn’t call the emergency line. (I was never told of an emergency line) Eventually the dentist took a look at the area where my tooth had been pulled, flushed it out, and sent me on my way. That evening, I called the emergency line in tears. I never received a call back.

Wound up going to the ER and diagnosed with nerve damage. This diagnosis would be upheld by my primary doctor. I left a message with Dr. Laconi’s office with the findings of my doctor. Still to this day Dr. Laconi’s office has refused to follow up.

I couldn't be happier after my initial visit. Summer could not have been more helpful in arranging a timely appointment. Marcia displayed a deft touch during my cleaning & Dr. Laconi is a true professional.

I honestly felt like the "Laconi Team" cared about my dental health, and, they made me feel like a long-time patron, and, not a first time visitor. Further, I felt completely safe in their Office during these anxious times. Top Shelf Experience!
