Scheduling an appointment is easy, I appreciate the front desk staff who are communicative via phone and text. I know what my copay is beforehand as they send an estimate before your appointment. As someone with severe dental anxiety, Dr. Wulfsohn is a great dentist who genuinely cares about her patients. She answers all questions I have and thoroughly explains the best route for treatment plans.

I came here as a sleep apnea patient and ended up changing this to be my dentist as well. The hours can be tricky as they are not open on weekends, but it is worth taking a day off from work. I drive about 25 minutes despite being closer to other dentist offices. I highly recommend Lakeview Dental Associates for sleep apnea and regular dental work.

I will say all of the dentists and staff were very kind to me at my appointment. They recommended a night guard that they said would cost $900 dollars to make, which felt high to me, so I decided to pass. (I ended up being quoted about $500 somewhere else). The office felt a bit run down to me, but I figured as long as everything is sanitary, that’s fine, so I scheduled a follow up in six months.

I lived close and they took my insurance, so it was convenient. By the time that appointment came around, I no longer had my job or dental insurance, and I had moved. My appointment was for a Monday. On Friday morning, I called to cancel (from out of the country on a different time zone, mind you), in what I thought was adherence to their two day notice policy.

They then told me the policy was 48 BUSINESS HOURS and have proceeded to charge me the $100 cancelation fee. Unmerciful enforcement of a confusing policy like this, combined with the night guard quote, makes me feel that, while the staff may be kind to your face, ultimately they want to squeeze you for every penny they can.
