Detailed Introduction

Their mission is to provide state-of-the-art endodontic treatment with a strong emphasis on compassionate and patient-centered care. As specialists in endodontics, they focus exclusively on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the dental pulp and surrounding tissues, with the primary goal of saving natural teeth. The clinic offers a comprehensive range of endodontic services, including primary root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment for previously treated teeth that have not healed properly, and endodontic surgery such as apicoectomy to address complex issues at the root tip. Lexington Endodontics understands that dental procedures can cause anxiety, and they offer sedation options like nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral sedation to help patients relax and feel more comfortable during their treatment. The team works collaboratively with general dentists to provide integrated and comprehensive dental care. Patient testimonials frequently highlight the staff's professionalism, kindness, and ability to make potentially uncomfortable procedures as painless as possible.

I visited Danville Endodontics yesterday for a root canal with a great deal of fear and apprehension, but both Dr. Weigle and his assistant were so very patient, wonderful, and obliging that I did get through it alive and actually had only minor pain (two Tylenol later all of the pain had gone). (I do think they should learn how to spell dam as I believe it needs to have an n added at the end.

) It was my first experience with root canals and hopefully my last, but if need be, I will definitely get back in touch with this clinic.

Dr. Weigle and his team were awesome!! I needed a root canal and it was the quickest procedure I’ve had done!! They made sure I was comfortable, and made sure I knew step by step what they were doing. Dr. Weigle called me the next day just to follow up with my care, and to check in. Very friendly staff inside and out!!

My root canal experience here was emotionally and physically intense. During the procedure, my jaw dislocated multiple times, and I was in a lot of pain. I started crying uncontrollably and felt panicked, overwhelmed, and honestly, pretty scared. In that moment, it felt like I wasn’t being fully heard, and I left the appointment feeling emotionally shaken and unsure about the care I had received. Looking back with a clearer mind, I now realize the medication I was given likely played a big role in how hysterical and heightened my reactions felt. The fear and pain were real, but I can also acknowledge that the staff was trying to calm me down and walk me through a very difficult situation.

It may not have come across in the moment, but I now understand that they weren’t trying to dismiss me—they were trying to help me cope. What truly changed my perspective was receiving a phone call from Dr. Weigle himself. He reached out to speak with me directly about what happened and took the time to listen, validate my experience, and sincerely apologize for how I felt during my visit. That personal gesture showed me that they genuinely care about their patients and take concerns seriously. It’s easy to only talk about the negative, but I think it’s just as important to talk about when someone takes the time to make things right.

That call made a big difference to me. I feel more reassured and respected now, and I do believe this office is committed to improving patient care. Though my experience was difficult, I appreciate the compassion shown afterward. I now feel much more comfortable recommending this office to others and confident that they’ll continue striving to provide quality care.
