When we first started coming to Dr Luck several years ago she was wonderful and had a wonderful staff. Ali was the absolute best and done so well with my young son. Fast forward to about a year or so ago and noticed the office losing staff and the office becoming more commercialized. Just for example, in the middle of drilling my tooth 1 of the workers comes in and asked Dr Luck what she wanted to do in her next Reel 🙄 Luck stops and starts talking about what she would like to do next and what day they should do it. So rude and unprofessional. She also has 1 of her hygienist doing the shot for numbing and my last 2 procedures, I felt everything. I had someone watching my son and I had already been waiting an hr just for Dr. Luck to get started and I didn't have more time to wait on numbing gel, shot and for her to take her time coming back. The first shot barely numbed it, I had a tooth drilled. Yeah, that was fun. I then went in to have the temp pulled off and a permanent placed on.

Again, same woman who apparently knows nothing about numbing, came in. She caused a lot of pain around my tooth with the needle but thought, ok this has to work. Nope, my lip tingled a little and wasn't numb at all. I felt the cold water, air and everything and yes, it hurt but again, who has time to wait when you're already running behind because she's taken an hour before getting to you. The front end hardly answers the phone. You leave a message and you might get a text back asking what day and time you want to come in. I'm a patient, not your friend, don't be texting me, have enough of courtesy to call me back. I left a message because I was in pain from my temp onlay. I was taking about 1000mg of Advil a day just to keep the pain at bay. I hardly take anything for pain. 1st time I called, I got brushed off and told it was normal.

2nd time I called, they got me in and I had already told the hygienist that the bite was off when it was placed on and she said I was numb, which I wasn't and told her I wasn't and she said come back if it hurts. Which I did and my bite was off, shocker. 3rd time it started hurting I called and they never bothered calling me back. Also, I get not playing country music or oldies in the office but during my visit Eminem came on and was dropping the F word and no one bothered changing it. I'm thankful it was me and not my son being seen. It's honestly now like going to a club vs a dentist office. The music doesn't have to be depressing but it definitely needs to be respectful. After being a patient for about 3 or 4 years now. My family and I will be leaving the practice. Quality of care has gone down hill tremendously.

I can't not say how much I appreciate Luck Family Dental. My daughter had a scooter accident, I showed up at the locked door with a bloody missing 1/2 a front tooth child. The door was locked and I stood there waiting for the door to open - it so happened, that they were actually closed that day but the dental assistant had come in to get some paperwork done. She opened the door assessed my daughter and immediately called Dr Luck.

ON HER DAY OFF she came in and literally glued her broken tooth back together (by the grace of God my husband found it on the paved trail). She was great and kind dealing with a scared 11 year old and a nervous mother. The tooth still needs some specialist work but at least she has one in her mouth today and it is not a jagged front tooth. The staff and Dr Luck are kind and amazing
