Been going to LWSS for almost 20 years. Have always had great experiences with the techs and the doctors. But now I can’t get a teeth cleaning appointment for over 9 months out. What the heck happened? Insurance pays for cleanings (prophylaxis) twice a year. It may be time to look elsewhere. :/

Fantastic staff…. its a shame that the large fish tank that had been in the lobby is now gone, it had been a main stay for 20+ years. The tank brought allot of joy to the kids who ignored the “don’t touch” sign on the tank 😀. I’m not sure why the tank was removed, the sitting area looks pretty bare now.

All in all, still a great office and staff…. Joanie has been taking care of me and my family for years and has always been wonderful.

I love lwss dentistry we began our journey several yrs ago at wards corner first my sister took her son for braces I liked how they were so friendly and making the kids feel so comfortable. At that time we were using kool smiles. I will not discuss that. so when it came time for my child to get a filling I took her to lwss at Wc , they told us which was evident my child had a terrible underbite destroying her upper front teeth , at that time Wc didn’t have a child orthodontist so we went to Kempsville. The experience for my child was amazing, so caring and relaxing for a child with anxiety. She just recently had braces removed and was heartbroken when she had to wear the retainer , the dental assistant was gentle and explained that she waould adjust quickly and the lisp would disappear.

We went next door to dentist for cavities and when my child seen the needle she freaked she wasn’t ready or expecting it. lol she ran out . Again the hygienist was caring and calming, they understood and just rescheduled us. So she could prepare and the gas could get approved. My daughter takes her kids to the Chesapeake office and speaks just as highly of that staff. We drive from Norfolk.

And will continue to use lwss as long as our insurance is excepted. And will refer anyone in need. Thank you lwss dentistry for treating us like family.

Grace, Ms. Phillip, and Jessica were so kind, professional and personable. I had to wait months for my first appointment here but it was worth it. Front desk was professional and helpful.

The facility was clean, not busy in the waiting room at all. I appreciated their updated machines that could X-ray and scan my teeth on a new level. Been a long time since I've been to the dentist but glad I have this one near me that is great. Thank you
