The staff is very personable and care about the patients. I always feel welcomed by the staff. Excellent care by very knowledgeable staff. My entire family uses this dentistry as well as several friends. We usually see Dr. Markham.

I moved and didn’t get a bill that was outside my coverage. Less than $100 bill. Got a notice from my credit monitoring service that I had a payment item in collections. Come to find out: This practice sent me to collections over a $80-90 bill I didn’t even know about! They could have called? I paid it immediately, talked to this practice about it, talked to collections firm about it, both to no avail.

This stupid small bill sent to collections will be holding down my credit score for 7 years. Will never ever go here again, will never recommend.

Been going to this dentist all my life. Would highly recommend. My dentist is Dr. Hair. Edit: Still going to leave 5 stars. I had a recent filling done (tooth #19) (bottom left back tooth) on 06/05/2024. It is now 07/17/2024 my tongue is still numb after that appointment. Apparently after going to get a second opinion from another dentist: He mentioned the numbing injection hit a nerve.

I was told it’s a 1 in a 100,000 chance of that happening. The second opinion dentist also mentioned the nerve is literally as thin as a hair so to hit it with a needle is very rare. Finally, he mentioned that if there isn’t improvement I could possibly go to a neurologist to see if I’m a candidate for some sort of nerve procedure. Not even sure I’d consider that but if the severed nerve (damage) is permanent I may have to give it a try. 🤷‍♂️ But I have a follow up with the second opinion dentist tomorrow. So we’ll see what he says.

Absolutely horrible billing and customer service. I asked their office what the $36 outstanding balance on my account was for. They said insurance probably didn't pay all the costs related to a crown I had put on. I asked them to check on it while I went for my semi annual cleaning. When I came out, the office person said I had an extra cleaning that the insurance company would not pay for--so I owed the extra $36. I told I schedule my cleaning when they ask me to and that I didn't request a "special" cleaning.

I asked them to waive the $36 fee. They would not. Dr. Hare was very demeaning saying I was responsible for the scheduling of my cleaning and it was my problem. About a week later, I got a US mail letter dropping me as a customer, along with a proper explanation of the $36 charge. In the summer I had an toothache and went to them and they referred me to an oral surgeon.

I immediately paid the $36 I owed and wrote a letter apologizing for my oversight and asking them to consider to keep me as a patient. I haven't heard back. Horrible billing person--3 times told charge was for a different service. If I was told the write thing in the first place there would have been no issue.
