Best dental practice around. Trustworthy. Dr. Kathy is thorough, professional, gentle, proactive, extremely knowledgeable, and patient to make sure we had the full information before we did anything. Dr. Soni was so fast, efficient, clean and precise, but pleasant too, making it a smooth experience.

My procedure was literally painless (the laughing gas helped too I’m sure). Tamra was exceptional, making sure I was comfortable, informed, and at ease the entire time, but she didn’t miss anything either, making a great team. The whole office is a great team actually, from the hygienist who calmly methodically and gently did my cleaning to Lindsey at reception who went above and beyond to quickly secure my X-rays, to Casey patiently explaining and recommending my financial options for Invisalign. We are blessed to have this team here in the valley. And Alan too, and the other folks I may not fully remember everyone’s name.

Very clean nice professional place but it felt a corporate scam the way the business works. Nice people but they will treat you like a high end client and then justify it by billing accordingly. With all their fancy gear and scans they tell you what you already know and try to upsell you on procedures (and on products at checkout). The work they did was good but If I had followed through on their recommendations I would have had double the work. I had to really push to limit the amount of upsell as 1 or 2 fillings seemed plausible but the 4 fillings they were recommending did not make sense even when looking at their fancy scans.

Any other dentist would have told my some of the white soft spots need to be observed and monitored but they seemed to think getting the fillings scheduled and taking my money as soon as possible was more important. The surgeon I used for the needed procedure was very dedicated and I liked him but they bring him out of the area on 1 or 2 days a week and overload his schedule so that they were interrupting him to work with other patients while he was supposed to be working on me. He got visibly upset and apologized to me for the interuptions and for not being able to finish the procedure at the end of the day patched it up temporarily and rescheduled a follow up procedure to finish the job. He did a good job but the business is hyper efficient on revenue generation and I could feel it. Additionally, they charged me extra on my first cleaning (which insurance did not cover the extra) giving it some kind of special term to mean it needed extra cleaning, but the cleaning time and effort did not seem to be any different than the cleaning at a different dentist or any cleaning at their office there after.

It seemed to be a money grab. Suffice it to say, they seem to do decent work but are super corporate and efficient at maximizing billing. I would not call them fraudulent, I would just rather go to a more trustworthy smaller practice where I feel like the priority not the product!

So where to begin. Yes my son does have cavities, yes he is young and that is why I was willing to try these people to help and get fillings. 2hr drive with a 4yr old, and with kids you have to take snacks. Started off with an exam, typical and normal. They do have cool scans and what not, but they did all of this just to tell me what we already knew.

Here's where it gets good. The "dentist" immediately starts talking about how she has a difficult time getting plain white fillings to stick, it gets even better, going over one of the scans she proceeds to tell me how there's all this plaque and yet another cavity. I looked at her and said "idk kinda looks like marshmallow to me" (later that day confirmed with my local dentist that it indeed was just marshmallow) she seemed flabbergasted that I had to give my son a snack on a car ride for something I figured would be an in and out consultation. Here's where it gets even better, they told me they would have to completely sedate my son, have him on a breathing tube, and silver fillings. I would not mind paying for a service that does absolutely need done, if I had faith in their people.

This dentist clearly can't tell the difference between a marshmallow and a cavity on a front tooth! Looking forward to talking to my insurance to voice my concerns and in the process of having them removed from the recommendation list. I would suggest staying away from anywhere that doesn't know how to use plain white fillings, especially on baby teeth. Watch for their money racketeering, they just want to charge you the most as possible so they can keep their tropical fish alive.
