McKinley Health Center is a lifesaver for students and families alike. As a college freshman, I was nervous about finding a dentist off-campus, but this place made it easy. Dr. Reed handled my cavity filling with such care—I barely felt the needle, and she even asked about my classes to distract me. The office is bright and welcoming, with a student-friendly vibe (they take campus health insurance and offer flexible payment plans).

My parents visited when they were in town, and Dr. Reed squeezed them in for quick checkups. The staff is super responsive—they texted me a reminder with a map to the clinic, which saved me from getting lost. It’s affordable, convenient, and genuinely caring—exactly what you need when you’re new to the area.

Nobody even answers the phone. Left me waiting in a room for 45 minutes without a doctor and I had to leave for work. Makes me come. Back ever couple of months instead of refilling my prescription for a year like every other doctor does and that feels scammy to me.

Im a fairly new resident in Granite City but learning fast the health care standards here arent that great. I thought St Louis was bad. I went in over a month ago I knew I had a UT infection. Dr Sieh saw me but asked very little of my symptoms or of another issue. He was primarily concerned with testing for std. It actually took them a week to notify me (they had my email, phone # and I sign up or their `portal) that still does not have the results of the tests where it is supposed to, that I had an E Coli infection. So after taking a week to tell me I had a dangerous E Coli infection, now they say I dont need to be retested after one course of antibiotics.

When everything I read says you do have to be. It was even the same person Chris who told me I dont need to be retested even though she had told me previously to that it would be difficult to keep it from recurring. So now I am trying to find a new provider. Dr Sieh is completely disinterested in providing any medical care for me most likely due to personal bias he maintains. And now they tell me all the other Drs they have are not receiving new patients. They are dumping me knowing the dangerous situation Im in and didnt even bother to refill my prescriptions for long term medication I must take. So now I cant get that refilled.

I have genuine and valid reasons to believe this is all due to Dr Sieh exhibiting such unprofessional personal bias and lack of understanding. Update I wound up at the er eventually vomiting freezing and yelling in pain. They made me wait for other people with a cold or runny nose. I was in the hospital for 4 days with e coli. It could have been prevented. At least they never sent me a bill for 4 days in the hospital, I wonder why

Truly wish I could rate these people lower. Wanted to argue on whether I had a copay or not. Was referred to them that was a waste of a referral. I felt through the entire new patient appointment that I was being brushed off. Out of some of my medications and they were supposed to take care of them after 3 business days I reached out on the health portal and that was a waste of the me they haven't even read the message.

Now I'm am sitting on hold waiting to see if they are going to do their jobs this is after waiting a week. If you are in a mental health crisis please avoid this place. The supervisor's make excuses for why things weren't handled.
