This place is terrible! The staff are rude. They give you a appt. , you go, and they send you home saying you didn't have a appt.

From my experience, I am pretty sure that they fired whatever receptionist was rude in the past. Entire current staff is extremely kind, attentive, and professional. Place was clean, and not dirty at all. Dr. Nicholson is the current practicing dentist, seems like he knows what he is doing, not a scary place, I would recommend.

No people skills at all from management, receptionist has more people skills than the manger working for this place. I don’t even know how to begin, because this place has left me with my mouth open and confirming it is time to leave Hazleton. Thought violence was the strongest but the behavior from this office is unacceptable. I never received such a poor patient attention from a dentist office like I did at this office. I Called to set up an appointment and was told my son didn’t have his Inssurance active, my sons Inssurance has been active since 2020 and I had to call the Inssurance to connect them with the office and my insurance spoke to the office receptionist. Receptionist kept insisting that her system showed he was not active and when I heard her repeat the information she was stating the information incorrectly and I noticed that was the problem and told her his date of birth was not accurate. When all that was resolved and appointment was scheduled for my son without even providing the time yet, I asked receptionist if I can schedule an appointment for myself and be billed directly as my Inssurance would be active on Feb. 1 of 2024 and she stated that she could not do that per policy and that was out of her control and if I wanted to talk to the manager and I told her “ yes please” When manager/Supervisor got on the phone I explained the situation and she stated that I would have to pay out of pocket “ to which it was not a problem to me because the insurance would reimburse me.
She told me why would I want to pay for it if I will have my insurance by Feb 1 to call then to get my appointment schedule. I have been having a really bad dull pain that prompted me to see a dentist and she stated we don’t have appointments for February anyway so you might as well call then. What got me so disappointed was that now the manager/Supervisor was lying because the clerical that scheduled my sons appointment set me for February 22, indicating that there was appointment available for then. It is so unprofessional how patients are being treated now a days, no ethic, no customer service empathy, respect. I was not asking for a free service and for a manger to lie is so non-ethical. Lord have mercy if this is the kind of people working with patients mouth. I’ am happy I was not able to schedule because I wouldn’t want to be treated by a dentist office that behaves with this type of behavior. Pray that the Lord works with the manager/Supervisor I spoked to.
Her attitude was unnecessary, all I wanted was an appointment even if I had to pay out of pocket. God bless her and pray that Lord work with her cold heart. This office use to be so different and was a place that I was looking forward to attending again after many years but everything has change and it saddens me really how Pennsylvania is changing. It is time to relocate, you can’t find hardly find a smile or a positive professional behavior in this time, but the word of God stated the hearts of many will be harden and I truly believe we are living that time :( The wrong people are taking hands on positions that they shouldn’t have. If you are dealing with customers/clients/patients you should have some skills on how to treat them and even if they disrespect you shouldn’t return the behavior because you are the face of the company/office you are working for or own.
