Originally from Houston, Texas, she graduated at the top of her class from the University of Texas Houston Dental Branch with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She then completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston, where she also earned a Master of Science degree and served as Chief Resident. Dr. Kimura is highly skilled in providing dental care to children, including under Conscious Sedation, and holds a New York State Conscious Sedation Certificate. She is known for her patience and nurturing approach, which is particularly effective in establishing a personal rapport with fearful or anxious young patients.
