I would like to thank the team at Michigan Denture and Implant Center for the special, excellent dental care that was provided to my aunt. Like many people, as a senior citizen, she was hesitant about dental work. As a result, I waited for her the duration of her appointment. When she walked out of the office, she stated, "I like this place.
I am going to make this my new dentist. Next time, you can just drop me off, You don't have to stay. " Again thank you to the entire staff, from the pleasant greeting of the receptionist to the the doctor who is very professional, detailed and caring.

I have always been traumatized of the dentist but this place has been absolutely astounding. Dr. peoples has been amazing! I had to get a cracked tooth extracted this week, and the process was painless and she did a great job not making me feel nervous. It is healing very well and looking forward to continuing my Care here. Also, the dental hygienist here is amazing as well. ❤️ THANK YOU!

My children & I have been customers of MD&IC for more than 10 yrs. High turnover but the staff has been nice. I've been serviced at the Redford and Eastpointe locations. I am a loyal customer, who'd refer as well. About 3-5 yrs ago I had a root canal w/crown done at MD&IC. It never set well as it would shift, seem to move, uncomfortable, etc. I remember once telling Dr. Larry that I've had problems with it since I've had it. I felt ignored. . . I thought that I was still adjusting to it. March 2025, in serious pain in that tooth, emergency visit to the Redford location, seen by Dr. Peoples. Poking/pushing, flossing, water flushing, x-ray done. . . I was told that the crown/root canal was fine (as usual), nothing was seen on the x-ray. Suggested that something was stuck in the gum that couldn't be reached, etc. Prescribed penicillin/pain meds. May 22, 2025, awakened by dire pain in the same tooth. Left work early, headed to the Eastpointe office. Seen by Dr.
Larry. It felt like a stiff cold visit that day. An x-ray pic, "I don't see anything" is what was said. . . Ah-gain. 1-2 more pics and same comment. Then I was told that the silver for my bridge was showing which had nothing to do with the pain; then I was told that I have a cavity in the tooth next to the crown. Between 3:30 a. m. -11:30 a. m. on the 22nd I'd taken a total of 10 ibuprofens for pain; I shared this with Dr. Larry and he stated that was fine. But imagine ibuprofens every two hours-no, not okay. I wanted something stronger where I'd take less medication. There was no urgency to help alleviate my discomfort and I'd assumed that the 1st availability would be shared to take care of my issue. Not a budge; to test--I mentioned my cleaning appointment, which was 19 days away, to take care of the cavity. I couldn't believe that I was expected to suffer for that long. My appt was adjusted to a 2 hour visit on June 10th. It was verified in the office 3xs minimum of my pharmacist. 1 1/2 hr later I arrived to learn that the prescription for pain had not been called. I am confused, pain more intense, and near tears.
Call the office, the response I get is no one told me to anything. I am now crying, I'm asked if I'm in pain. . . 2-3 more call backs about what I need. Smh. Friday at 9:30 p. m. , I am still in pain and called a dentist with 24 hour emergency service in Royal Oak, spoke with a dentist and met him on Saturday. Opted to have the tooth pulled. The 1st day to alleviation. It is with this dentist that I learned that the crown placed after the root canal was TOO big, the cavity was due to the crown pushing into the adjacent tooth. I also viewed a HUGE infection, via x-ray where the doctor allowed me to see the FULL view of the x-ray. The infection was below the poorly done root canal and spread under the tooth next to it-the infection was largely under the root canal site I always had the issue. The infection was near a nerve. A scary site to see. Just think of the various health issues that this negligence could have caused. Imagine waiting 19 days in pain like that, taking all of those OTC ibuprofens every 2 hours desperate to stop the pain. My thought was, was the delay (starting in March 2025) waiting for another root canal and/or not wanting to admit to the screw up with the initial root canal? Never again. Not for me nor my family.
