I am absolutely ecstatic about Midwest Integrative Dentistry and being reunited with my dentist Dr Michael Harris. Extremely personable, knowledgeable, Compassionate and thorough in explaining any procedure before proceeding. His office and staff havr a modern, laid back vibe (actual vinyl collection and record player) that puts you at ease and fits his demeanor.

I was told by another Marketplace vendor service dentist that I had cavities. I immediately went searching for Dr Harris and he did a thorough examine, scans, x rays and determined I DID NOT! I endorse, encourage and highly recommend to family, friends and to those reading this review , Dr Michael Harris and staff at Midwest Integrative Dentistry.

After 3 years of putting the dentist office, I opted to give it another go. This place is about 10 minutes from my house, so convenient is the key. However, I wish I could write that my overall experiences with Dr Harris were good. Sadly after a few visits and some dental work completed, it's nothing to write home about. I completed my cleanings at his office and the billed my insurance company. I paid a bit out of pocket, no problems there. I had a tooth extracted as it was way past its prime (having not gone to dentist for a few years ). The office failed to make any contact with me following that initial extraction. The reasons behind that were that people didn't like when he called and it was "time wasted". I had expressed how nervous I was with the whole process and that it was my first time using laughing gas.

I went home and in the few days following my visit (had it on a Thursday-- office closed Friday/weekend) I started to really have some issues. My mouth and jaw were extremely sore. Fast forward to the 1 week marker and I couldn't take the pain anymore. I had to drive to the office after calling their office right when they were scheduled to open and had no response. Turns out they opted to take a random day off and did not change the voicemail. There was no sign in the front door and no updates on their social media. I had reached a point I was in too much pain from what I later learned was dry socket. I literally was on the way to emergency dental clinic and the doctor called me about the confusion. I had a direct conversation with Dr Harris about communication with patients in his office when I had my tooth looked at for dry socket. He made it out like he would be talking to me via text everyday to check on me.

I know we all have lives outside of work, and he recently added a new baby to his clan. That still is not an excuse for dissing your patients who help line your pockets and fuel your fire. I did receive communication from his office staff via text (easier for me) after he fixed my dry socket issue. I think his only saving grace is the office staff and a few members of the back procedure team. They keep the office going and try to keep him on track. I think he's overwhelmed at home and in the office with too much going on. I do not recommend that you make any effort to become a patient of his. Look elsewhere.

Awesome dentist and person. Dr. Harris takes the time to listen to whatever you need to talk about and understand about your treatment. He does not try to sell you something that is not needed. and has your best interest at heart. Very pleasant and the staff is great too!!! we need more like Dr. Harris, Thank-you for being you :)

There was a warmth and joy in the hygienists, assistants, office staff as well as Dr. Harris. Not only were they awesome, but very professional and thorough! I can't say enough about this practice. My husband was the patient and I will certainly be next!!
