I just went to Essex dental care for the first time today and had a wonderful experience. I saw Dr. Nishisaki and, unlike other dental offices I’ve been to, she provided all of the dental cleaning and care (usually, a tech cleans my teeth and the doctor briefly flits in at other dentists I’ve gone to). She did a thorough job with the cleaning and helpfully explained exactly what she saw on the x-rays and photos and what that meant as far as dental care she would recommend.

She also has a great tool I had never experienced before that props open the mouth and sucks up extra saliva while she is doing the cleaning… no more having to ache and hold my mouth open as wide as possible wondering if I’m doing an ok job! I will definitely be going back and continuing to see Dr. Nishisaki. I couldn’t recommend her and the practice more highly!

Had intensive work done, never ever felt any pain nor discomfort . On time, very polite an informative. I would highly recommend an go back. Well I'm back for yearly visit 2019/2020. Teeth are doing good.

I love this dentist do much. I would highly recommend this dentist with 100% awesomeness, as far as pain, thorough, patient, good listener, reasonable pricing, they make themselves available. I would always recommend them,I go to the male doctor that's there,I won't go to anybody else until the day I have to move out of this state. 👍

I've been seeing Dr. Ko here for a few years and have been extremely pleased with the experience. He does the cleaning work himself which allows you to get the cleaning and the exam taken care of at the same time rather than having that awkward wait between the hygienist finishing up their work and then the dentist coming in later that I get at most practices.

He's never guilted me for when my personal dental care has been lax (which was the reason I had left a previous practice). Efficient, good at working with minimal pain (I don't leave a cleaning with my gums aching), and doesn't try to engage you in a lot of small talk while you have instruments in your mouth which is always a plus for me.
