I generally don’t like going to the dentist and have avoided it for a few years my wife encouraged me to give North Ankeny Family Dentistry a try and Dr Brandon and his team were great. I felt welcomed right away by Karlie at the front desk. Dr.

Brandon did a great job helping me feel comfortable while he was cleaning my teeth and explained what he was doing as he was going. I was very happy with how I was treated and am glad to have found a dentist I’ll be going to for a long long time.

Morgan was an amazing dental assistant and everything from check in to check out went smoothly. Loved it here! It’s always scary walking into a new dental office but I had the best experience! They are all super friendly and listen so well. I went in to get a second opinion and they gave me their opinion and I felt comfortable asking what I would like to do.

They treat patients like family which is such a big green flag! I had a whole conversation about our babies! I will definitely establish myself and my family as patients here!!

I’ve been meaning to post this for a while! This is the best dentist I’ve gone to since I was a child. The team is so personable and inviting! Karlie, the office manager is so incredibly nice and helpful! She helps thoroughly explain possible costs, manages all the terror of insurances, and provides excellent communication and customer service. Morgan, the dental assistant is also incredible. She literally even remembers my favorite show (Bob’s Burgers) and will get the tv set up for me! She is really nice and communicative with her process.

Dr. Throckmorton is also really nice, so thorough, and always willing to explain stuff! He, too, gives thorough communication about lets you know his process and gives an explanation about what he is going to do next before just going for it. I am neurodivergent and hadn’t gone to the dentist in close to 10 years out of fear and now I actually really like going! 10 stars out of 5. Highly, highly recommend!
