Went here for the first time today and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Everyone was also very professional and I couldn’t be happier with the work I had done.

Edit since my review a couple weeks later, my son went for a cleaning at the new dentist and one of the cavities he did have done at NT Family Dentist popped out, because it was poorly done. Stay away! We have been going to NT family dentistry for about seven years now. Since we’ve been going to them, the three of us each had about 2 to 3 cavities, which is weird because our other dentist we had none. But it happens, so we continued to go to them, they were only a block from our house so it was convenient.

I never liked them that much, but my husband and son said they were fine. In October my son went for a cleaning (we go every 6 months), he came home and said he has 3 cavities and possibly might need a root canal in one, he made an appointment for the cavities. A couple of days before his appointment someone called me I believe Amy to tell me the amount it was going to be, when I asked why it was so much she stated because he has 8 cavities! I canceled the appointment and made one with a new dentist. New dentist took their own new X-rays said he has NO cavities and has perfect teeth! Since then he found out a friend of his that goes there also had “8” cavities but unfortunately he got at least half of them done.

So do not walk, but run away from this place, such a scam.

I got scheduled for a 9:10 dentist appointment that I mistook for 9:00am for my first checkup at this dentistry. Not only did the receptionist tell me that my appointment was at 8:00am and i missed it, she told me I couldn’t reschedule as she doesn’t reschedule first appointments. I told her I got a call from their place to confirm that appointment and she told me she “worked that friday” and she couldn’t have called and it must’ve been another place. How would you have known it was on Friday in the first place? I couldn’t even prove that the time was what i was told because I didn’t have the card anymore and I never got that reminder text I was supposed to get.

And then she told me she only schedules for 8:00 and 9:10 so I couldn’t have possible been scheduled for that time. I was recommended here by a friend but now not only do I not have a dentist but I’ve also had an extremely poor experience with trying to get one.

When it comes to going to the dentist I have crazy anxiety. Everyone in the office from the moment of walking through the door to leaving. The dental hygienist and doctor talk to me explaining everything asked my concerns and asked if I had any questions.

I would definitely recommend this place. I will be making appointment for my son as well and Hopefully over time my anxiety decrease thank you north tonawanda family dentist 💓
