Northeast Ohio Neighborhood Health Services, commonly known as NEON, is a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) network deeply rooted in the Greater Cleveland community. Founded in 1967, NEON's mission is to enhance the quality of life for Northeast Ohio residents by delivering comprehensive, excellent, and sensitive healthcare services in a caring environment. NEON operates a network of multiple health centers across Cleveland and East Cleveland, providing accessible primary care services across the lifespan, from prenatal care to seniors. Their extensive range of services includes adult medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), dental care, behavioral health services, optometry, and podiatry. Beyond these core medical offerings, NEON also provides a variety of ancillary services on-site, such as laboratory testing, pharmacy services, X-ray, mammography, and ultrasound. A key aspect of NEON's commitment to the community is its dedication to serving diverse populations, including those who are uninsured or have low incomes. The organization is governed by a Board of Trustees that includes both consumers of their services and other concerned citizens from various fields. NEON has maintained Joint Commission accreditation for over 55 years, signifying its commitment to high standards of patient care and safety.
