Staff is good. Pretty much all dentists there are residents. Sometimes you get a good one, sometime not so good. Dental resident only required 1 year of residency unlike medical residents, therefore they will be practicing on you while completing their residency. Reaching anyone over the phone is nearly impossible. Same with leaving voice messages.

I’ve only had positive experiences with the dental staff. 5/5 for dental staff. However, I can’t wait to complete my work and never return here. It is incredibly stressful to get through to the billing department. 0/5 for my experience there.

I called the billing department once and was told I couldn’t get my payment history because they don’t keep the payment history, but I called Northwell’s Dental Clinic in Glen Cove and obtained my payment history. I wanted the payment history because I was unsure of some payments and wanted to get clarification on potential errors. left a voicemail specifically detailing when I would be available because we were playing phone tag and thereafter didn’t receive responses to my voicemails. Since Northwell switched over to Whitehall Dental there was something awry with them being out-of-network with Cigna. I’m awaiting the out-of-network claims to be rectified, but I still have pending concerns.

It’s been about three months of headaches. I suspect I’ll have to go in-person to discuss these matters, possibly speak to a manager, and then I’ll wipe my hands clean once I’ve completed my work.

No one answers the phone, and it takes weeks to hear back from the clinic. Avoid it if you can; this clinic makes Northwell look bad.

The office staff never picks up the phone. They still haven't resolved a bill due to the dentist being out of network (when they were supposed to be in network) from Jan 2023. It is now Dec 2024. That is almost two years.

I have called them numerous times from 2023 to now (almost two years), but no one cares to help. Please go somewhere else. Northwell, please look into why your patients are being treated this way here and/or please hire more people if the staff here is overworked as it is affecting your patients gravely.
