Dr. B is not very tolerant of children with sensory needs and/or dental anxiety. My daughter has both and instead of trying to walk her through the cleaning process he makes rude comments. We originally thought we just had a bad appointment and tried again but unfortunately had a very similar bad experience.

I asked how much the cost of the cleaning would be before our appointment and was told by the staff it would be covered by insurance. I had my insurance card on me. They had my insurance information so didn’t ask to see my card. I told them I really needed to know the cost because if it’s over $40 I cannot afford to pay.

I will pay the late cancellation fee over what they are trying to charge me now! $117 for a total of 5 minutes tops spent. And then the lady wants to argue with me about me not knowing my plan! Well YOUR staff told me it would be covered! Very unprofessional. Misinformation was given and now I’m being forced to pay for a service I truly cannot afford!

Took my daughter there to have four teeth extracted. We were treated with extreme disrespect to the point that I was in tears because I was so angry. The office claimed that they never received X-rays from the orthodontists and needed to take their own. I learned that the orthodontist sent X-rays twice.

One of the women walked into the room and said “I need more time to take out adult teeth” she was obviously very annoyed with us and we had just gotten in the room. Eventually, the dentist refused to do the extraction even though we were there on a referral, three adults came into the tiny room my daughter and I were in and told me that they could not in good faith remove the teeth but that it was “up to me” what I wanted to do. Are you kidding me!? I go to orthodontists and dentists because they are professionals and I trust them to help me make the best decisions. The staff at Oregon Pediatric Dentistry were rude, the dentist talked over me, interrupted me multiple times to tell me how much more he knew about orthodontics.

He even looked at me and said “what, does she just want braces or something?” I honestly couldn’t believe it. We will not be going back to that office for anything.
