This was my first appointment and I was very impressed. All of the staff were very nice and they did every thing they could to make me as comfortable as possible (I had 4 teeth pulled). They care about their patients and it shows.

I have a dental emergency. I am unemployed, having been a full-time student and freshly graduated. So, financially I need help, and searched for low income dental offices in the area. I called on four separate occasions throughout the afternoon. They did not answer the phone, so I decided to drive to the clinic to speak with someone personally. I stood at the window for 5+ minutes.

I’m quite sure the staff member saw me, because I could see her although the glass is somewhat opaque. She was sitting at the front desk gossiping to her other coworker. She made no effort to assist me or even acknowledge my presence. I went around the corner to the WIC side, and spoke with the front desk receptionist there. She went back to the dental office and spoke with the staff. The receptionist came back to report that they are not taking accepting anymore new intakes for the year.

And to come back next year. Super unprofessional and inhospitable. The dental staff, who intentionally ignored me, didn’t have the decency to inform me of that news, personally. The WIC receptionist was nice, however. Save time and trouble, go elsewhere!

I had a very BAD experience, they lied and discriminated against me on my visit there with my fiance. I was there to support him and there was a form I had to sign to be with him. I never seen the form, and they denied my presence in the room. I had to wait 2 hours. Just to find out my fiance signed the form for me and they purposely withheld me for reasons that baffle me. Racism, hatred or pure EVIL!!! I will not let this rest until justice is done (To reply back. . .

that's wrong information, the story is inaccurate. He signed the form for me and the doctor consented. They both wondered why I never made it back there. He only received a filling so it wasn't that complicated of a procedure. I want to speak with Ms. Spencer or one of the board members. I was lied to and discriminated against today, it's not fair to sweep it under the rug. )

Don't ever go here. What I thought was a convenient service actually turned into a nightmare. I went in for an extraction and was told they couldn't do it, due to swelling. I was okay with that. I was given antibiotics and asked to return. Sidenote: the nurse giving out the medicine said to the doctor laughingly she was going to ban the doctor from getting antibiotics because he was giving them to too many people. I returned and I was told again they could not do the extraction.

I was told they could do a cleaning instead. I was then told 15 mins later that the chair I was sitting in and the machine to do the cleaning was not working. I was then told they would just do x-rays and I could return for the cleaning in two weeks because someone was in the other chair. I agreed and called back two weeks later to schedule the cleaning. The Director was very rude and said I was lying about the chair and machine not working. I explained to her that that is what I was told. The staff is very rude when it comes to low income especially if they feel like you can't pay the $25 fee.

I am grateful for the fee but Director and some of the staff are very rude as if they deserve to treat people bad because of their income and they know possibly they can't go anywhere else. I missed two days of work which I already can't afford to do but I was in pain and needed help. I pray other dentist start providing cheaper services as a courtesy to the less fortunate so that they don't have to deal with things like this. I also hope that dental insurance becomes available soon because these programs are rude on top of lacking resources and it's unfortunate.
