I've been a patient at Pearl Smiles for years, pretty well since the practice opened IIRC. Initially I chose Pearl Smiles only because it is super close to my home, easy. Turns out that I got very lucky in this lazy decision making. Not only is it convenient, but Pearl Smiles is the best dentistry practice I've ever been a patient with. And I've been a patient at MANY in Howard County, MD during the past 20 years. Honestly and unfortunately, I'd identify myself as one of those nightmare patients. I'm heavily prone to decay and cavities. Never go in for preventative visits or cleanings, and typically don't follow through on recommendations. The state of affairs inside my mouth might be best described as "a war zone, or place you'd rather not see" even though I am very fastidious about my daily oral hygiene. I'm almost always having a bad day and am in a lousy mood when I arrive at the clinic as an unscheduled patient. For obvious, and often painful reasons.

In spite of all this, Dr. Liya and her staff have ALWAYS been super accommodating. I never feel anything except welcomed, and well cared for. There is never any shaming, finger wagging, or soapboxing about the things I have or haven't been doing. My needs are well considered and responded to with excellence. Dr. 's technical abilities, experience, personality and knowledge are superb. Everyone in the facility treats you with courtesy, clarity, and warmth. The staff has been mostly the same for years, which tells me a lot about the quality of Pearl Smiles as a place to work. When I leave Pearl Smiles I am always feeling better. It'd be hard to say that you are "happy" about getting your jaws drilled, prodded, vacuumed.

. . . . . whatever. But I am very fortunate to have found the best place to have things like that done! I am supremely grateful for, and confident in what Pearl Smiles can do, has done, and will do for me. It's a real relief knowing that I have them "in my corner", right around the corner from home. Thanks for treating your lousiest patient with the same compassion, dignity, and care as your favorite ones!
