so I am a truck driver that was passing through the Chicago area on a Saturday. I had a tooth that had to be removed and was not able to find many dentists offices that were open and willing to do a tooth extraction on a Saturday. I stumbled across this office and reached out to them and they were able to get my squeezed in for an afternoon appointment. I arrived at the office shortly before my 2pm appointment and was greeted by a nice lady at reception(but don’t let her fool you, she’s the one that will be pulling your tooth, she’s the dentist, and she’s super cool).

they got me in, took some xrays and got to work. they were playing some good music while they were extracting my tooth, so I had a little chuckle while the dentist was singing a good 90’s song while yeeting a tooth from my mouth. Both ladies were very nice, and I would highly recommend them!

Dr Peterson is nice and helpful but the nurse or whatever her name is is rude and unprofessional. I haven’t been to a dentist in a long time expecting to feel welcomed and comfortable and I was not given that. They started off by saying that I had to pay with a card with my name on it which isn’t the issue. The issue with me is when my stepmom asked the reasoning the first reason the nurse lady gave was “because she’s grown and needs to pay for herself”. Not knowing someone’s financial situation is not your issue but should be considered.

I’m having serious tooth pain and when getting the xray I had problems biting down on the plastic piece and the nurse showed annoyance when I made it clear what and where my pain was. You’re automatically required to pay $200 to be treated like this and I’m very unhappy. Again Dr Pederson was friendly but the nurse was not and she needs to fix her attitude.

TK Bush

Visiting Chicago from Hawaii and developed a severe toothache and infection. Dr. Pedersen was able to fit me in on a Sunday (!) so I could finish my trip without pain. Getting medical or dental care outside of your home state is daunting, but Dr Pedersen and her assistant Molly were so kind and accommodating that I felt immediately at ease.

I wish that this was my regular dental care team back home. I highly, highly recommend this practice.

I came into Dr. Pedersen’s office with a rotting broken tooth. I needed a root canal and it was something I knew and had been avoiding for quite a long time. Dr. Pedersen and her daughter Molly fit me in their calendar the very next day. Dr.

Pedersen cleaned my tooth and prepared me to come back to finish the root canal. I left that day very numb but the pain came back that night (I assume from the work and the infection I had) but when I woke up the next morning, my pain was practically completely gone. A bit sensitive but the endless sharp throbbing pain was completely gone and I felt like a human again. I went back today and got the crown. I can not recommend this dentist enough. She cares for her patience and obviously has been doing this for a very long time and she’s easily the best dentist I’ve ever dealt with.

(I’ve dealt with a lot) her daughter Molly made me feel so comfortable and I truly feel like these 2 made my whole experience so less intense. They joke, talk to you, explain everything, and keep a really good overall vibe and energy. It’s the worst thing in the world going to the dentist for everyone but you can tell they are aware of that and go the extra mile to make their clients comfortable. They are truly there to help you. I will 100% recommend them to anyone I know who needs dental work.
