We picked out Polzin Family Dental when we moved back to Appleton several years ago and we have been very pleased. The dentists are experienced and very practical, and the charges (with my dental insurance) are very reasonable and fair. At this practice they don't recommend every dental procedure under the sun if it's not really necessary - they've been great about identifying minor issues that we can just keep an eye on, and doing different levels of fillings depending on severity. So, the few times they have said we need to do more advanced dental work, I have been able to trust them. The hygienists are great too.
They have a great bedside manner with small children, and feel gentle during my own cleanings. I have noticed as well that there's not a lot of turn over - the same team is there year after year. That probably means the employees are happy, but it also means the staff are experienced, comfortable, and work well together. Highly recommend!

Dr Ed helped our son twice in emergency situations (both which occurred after hours). He is a great guy and went above and beyond to help us and take care of our son, thank you!!

Great practice. I stayed here even when my insurance was out of network for a short period of time. What pushed me to write a review was how attentive Dr. Ed was when I had a filling fall out yesterday. Not only did he return my phone call on a SUNDAY, he 1. ) offered to meet me in the office if need be. 2.
) provided what to expect and direction in case I needed help. 3. ) most importantly, he was able to squeeze me this morning to fill the tooth. Thank you for all that you do, I can’t imagine a better family practice. Lastly, the front desk is very helpful. Not only do they take time to answer all my questions, but they are patient when explaining responses to me which is greatly appreciated.
