First time ever leaving a review even remotely like this. But it is justified and I want to warn other potential patients of what my experience entailed. I was seeking a new dentist closer to home as my old hygienist moved away, and came across good reviews here. Danielle was exceptionally helpful in setting up an appointment for regular cleaning and to take a peek at chipped tooth as a new patient here, so this is not any reflection on her. It went absolutely downhill from the beginning of my visit.

My hygienist/tech (I don’t know her name as she didn’t introduce herself, and she is not listed or pictured as one of their hygienists or techs on their website) indicated she wanted to do full pano X-rays as I had a little chip. I’ve had this done three or so times previously. For clarification, I go to dentist regularly and am not one of the high anxiety patients. I have no words for this experience here. I’ll try to give the benefit of the doubt as perhaps she is inexperienced or newer, but it was an absurd experience just trying to place the bitewings.

Poked me in the eye twice, cramming it down my throat and jabbing into my gums. After 6 or so X-rays, I got up and left. Never had an experience like this at any medical office anywhere, anytime or anywhere in the world. Absolutely a horrible experience that I want to share so other people don’t have to.

I had to find a new dentist because my insurance changed and this one was close to home and they offered Saturday appointments. I had not been to a dentist in a couple years because of a bad experience, which I explained to them. When I went in, they took x rays and said there was so much build up that they would need to do a “deep clean” and I would need to come every 4 months after that. Of course my insurance doesn’t cover any of that and it would be mostly out of pocket. I said I just wanted a cleaning, which they refused to do.

I said I didn’t want to do any of that so I made an appointment with another dentist for a second opinion. When I spoke with him and he did my exam, he said I had normal tartar build up and didn’t need anything extra. The second doctor and his staff had no problems cleaning my teeth. I was told this is a common thing that they do to new patients just to get money. Just warning people so they don’t fall for this!

I have had to see several dentists in the past year unfortunately. This is the first place that makes me feel safe and I can trust them. This is also the first place that took the time to actually listen to me and my thoughts and concerns.

They make me feel safe and comfortable that they are truly looking out for me and make me and my comfort a priority. My only regret with them is I wish I would have found them sooner.
