1 out of 5 Stars – Extremely Slow and Unnecessary X-Rays I had a very disappointing experience at Rutherford Family Dental. A routine cleaning, which should have taken 30-40 minutes at most, dragged on for two hours. I arrived at 8:30 AM and didn't leave until 10:30 AM—an absurd amount of time for something that should be quick and straightforward. To make matters worse, they took X-rays twice—once when I arrived and then again after the cleaning. I don’t see any reason why this was necessary, and it only added to the already excessive wait time. I get my teeth cleaned every six months, so there was no reason for such a long, drawn-out process.

If you value your time and efficiency, I’d recommend going elsewhere. Dr. Banks in Inwood, for example, would have had me in and out in less than 40 minutes. I won’t be returning to Rutherford Family Dental. Casey and Destiny, however, were outstanding!! :)

This is hands down the best dental office I’ve ever been to! From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, the entire staff is friendly, professional, and truly cares about their patients. Scheduling appointments is easy and stress-free, which makes a huge difference. The front desk receptionist is fantastic—so welcoming, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything. The dental team is just as wonderful.

They take the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring I feel comfortable and informed throughout every visit. It’s refreshing to go to a place where the staff genuinely prioritizes patient care. I’d highly recommend this office to anyone looking for an exceptional dental experience!
