This practice came highly recommended but had a bad experience. Some of it was probably COVID related and staffing issues. Could not get a human on the phone for quite a while. Gave them a second chance and signed forms from previous dentist (twice) to send over files (more convenient location and old dentist practice was bought out by a chain) and sat in the office for 45 minutes to an hour (and took people who walked in after me).

After I asked what was taking so long they told me they did NOT have my records and were waiting to get them faxed. No one bothered to tell me this while I was waiting. By then, I had to leave for a second appointment. Most recently I was told my appointment (3rd attempt) would be around 400.

00 with a list of things that were done a year ago and faxed over by my previous doctor. I see a periodontist twice a year and dentist twice a year for routine cleaning. I had to cancel yet again mostly due to yet another scheduling issue on their end and NOW the expense and lack of explanation why all this had to be done again when I was previously told this was a routine cleaning. I am hoping I am the only one who got treated this way but guess 3 strikes and you're out!

I’ve been going to Dr. Dowdy for a few years now and I feel so lucky to have found such a good dentist. The staff is wonderful too! I get very nervous at the dentist and but they are so gentle and patient with me, and go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I look forward to many future visits!

Dr. Dowdy and her staff are absolutely incredible! I’m so appreciative of the extra effort they put into their care. I’ve had dentists that just try to churn through patients. Here they truly are concerned for your well being and take the time to make things right. Would recommend 100/100 times.
