I did not have a positive experience with the dental hygienist. She never acknowledged when her cleaning was hurtful or pause to check on me. She would just keep going despite me grimacing, etc. She condescendingly repeated the phrase “I don’t think you are understanding” in response to my confusion about the initial appointment length. The cleaning didn’t start until 75 minutes into the visit.

She rudely told me that the paperwork I signed explained what was entailed in the new patient appointment. She was very dismissive. I would only go back if I could be seen by a different hygienist. The doctor seemed nice though and other staff were pleasant.

My visit to Sardis Dental was phenomenal from beginning to end. I walked in and was greeted with so much warmth and professionalism. The hygienist, Paula Divers, was gentle, informative, respectful and knowledgeable. She did a wonderful cleaning and I left with zero pain and a clean mouth.

I used to go here for a few years to get cleanings. No issues. Then they wanted to do x-rays and I had no current dental issues so I declined. The dental tech then told me it was THE LAW that I had to get x-rays once a year. You read that correctly.

She had no answer for "what law" because the government doesn't dictate that. If the dentist is making the tech push x-rays by lying to that extent, think of what other services and procedures they are pushing that you don't need. Every visit they tried to upsell me on a million things.

I appreciate this place. I don’t want anyone else in my mouth. My last visit was thorough. My teeth and gums could not have gotten better service anywhere else.
