I feel so blessed to have found Dr. Patel and her hygienist, Cristiana, at Sherwood Dental! I’m a mom with two young kids and to hear that your 6 year old daughter has cavities, is devastating. Our dentist was not a children’s dentist, so he asked us to find someone else to fill the cavities. Eeek! Thankfully, I asked a work colleague and she raved about her experience at Sherwood Dental, so we tried it out. Our first visit from start to finish, felt like a dream. We were greeted by the receptionist, Harriet. This lovely woman makes you feel so special that you want to come back, again and again.

We met Dr Patel and Cristiana, they were beyond incredible! The dentist was very patient and explained everything to us, step by step. My daughter wasn’t scared at all, because they made her feel so at ease. Dr. Patel, was very gentle and fast, and my daughter had no pain, even after the freezing. Dr. Patel and Cristiana, distracted my daughter by playing Taylor Swift music on the tv in front of her, while they were working on her teeth. What dentist does this?! So AMAZING! She also brought Taylor Swift temporary tattoos for my daughter for being such a good patient.

I can’t thank Dr. Patel and Cristiana enough. My entire family will NEVER go anywhere else but Sherwood Dental from now on. We look forward to returning.

In 2013, I had an accident where I broke my front tooth in half. I immediately went to Sherwood Dental to rectify the issue. I have felt safe with them ever since. Most notably, I have felt very comfortable in the hands of Doctor Arti Patel. She is extraordinarily smart, perceptive to detail, and personable. I am so grateful for her talent, advocacy and care.

I will always recommend Sherwood Dental to any friends or associates who are seeking a dentist. I ended up having four of my front teeth redone and I am very happy with the results. Dr. Patel always takes the time to explain what I may not fully understand as well as does her best to navigate complicated situations with due diligence and integrity. She is a real asset to Sherwood Dental.

Dr Gaines is a terrific dentist. His humour and music selection always puts me at ease. The staff is polite, cheerful and helpful, whether you are having your teeth cleaned or settling the bill with Natalie and it all starts with Harriets smile as you enter the office.

I never thought i’d be one to say “I love going to the dentist”, but alas, Sherwood Dental has become like family. I’ve been a patient for almost two decades, and their service is impeccable; but beyond that, everyone in the staff is so kind, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve called many a time for time sensitive care needed (beyond my usual cleanings; such as a broken wire retainer, chipped tooth etc) and they are so accommodating and understanding to do their best to fit me in; and offer compassion and care.

Natalie and Harriet who work in reception are true angels, and Dr. Gaines is so personable and makes my appointments genuinely fun and enjoyable. even though I moved away from the Oakville area years ago, i still make the drive to see them for all my dental needs as there’s truly no other dentist I’d rather go to!!! Can’t recommend them enough!!!!
