I went to this dentist of a number of years. My last three appointments I had a dental hygienist that literally made me cry. She was very rough and really cut up my gums. I have gone to the dentist regularly my whole life and never had an experience like this. When I told her it was painful on multiple occasions she told me it was because I wasn't flossing enough. Eventually I didn't want to go back so I switched to a new dentist. The new hygienist at a different office didn't hurt me at all, and I now know the hygienist at Shinkle's was quite bad.

It wasn't a lack of flossing. Also, the new dentist looked at my exray from Shinkle and saw a huge cavity that he missed almost a year ago. The cavity is since much worse and I am hoping I don't lose my tooth. Needless to say I am pretty disappointed with my experience with doctor Shinkle and his staff. The only reason I gave two stars is because Shinkle seems like a nice guy. But I am really upset he missed a giant cavity.

I have been going to Dr. Shinkle for over 10 years. I refuse to see anyone else. Megan at the front desk is amazing and very welcoming. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and relaxed.

Been going here for over 5 years me and my daughters. Loved going here until they’ve changed their hygentist so many times one made my gums feel like there were being cut open. Never canceled or missed an appointment in the time going here had to call for the first time to cancel due to covid and was told since it’s short notice I won’t be able to return.

Not 24 hour notice but the day before. But they can cancel when their hygentist quits and say they will call you to re schedule and never call so you. Bad practices!!!!
