My husband visited the Smile Center in Raleigh today as a prospective patient. His previous dentist, who he had been seeing for decades, recently went out of network with his insurance, so he was looking for a new dentist. He wanted to check out the Smile Center since they were in-network and planned to tour the office and ask a few questions about insurance and copays—basic inquiries any first-time patient would have. Unfortunately, his experience today was awful.

The receptionist he spoke to was incredibly condescending and rude. Not only did she neglect to answer his questions, she made him feel stupid for even asking them in the first place. She had a terrible attitude, a nasty expression, and showed complete disrespect not only toward my husband as a potential customer but also toward her coworker, who she was equally rude to. We tried calling back to get the receptionist's name for this review, but they claimed they were "uncomfortable" giving out that information.

It was a middle-aged white woman with blonde hair at the front desk—an absolute nightmare to deal with. After reading the terrible reviews online, our experience only confirmed what we had already suspected. Smile Center does not value its patients, we will never do business them and we would not recommend this place to ANYONE.

Overall, pleased with the experience. Initially went for a consultation to figure out options for crowns and bridge work. I need more specialized treatment than what a general dentist can do. Since they are in-network I decided to start with my crowns (2). So far so good I will go back in a few weeks to get my permanent crowns placed.

The bridge treatment plan will be more difficult- wait and see. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. The music was relaxing also.
