On this first day of the year I’m reflecting on what I’m grateful for. I’m grateful for the best dentist/dental hygienist I could ever want . When my insurance changed and Dr. Schimmel wasn’t on the preferred list, I knew there was no way I would leave this office. I pay upfront, Lisa submits my claims immediately and I get reimbursed promptly.

Everyone is very professional and I always find it so relaxing on my visits there. Dr. Schimmel gave me a beautiful smile and believe me he had his work cut out for him! Thank you to each and everyone that works there. I hope it’s a great New Year for all! Signed; your friend Melissa:-)

I had been going to Dr Schimmel for years (out of network) and driving 45 min to him until I discovered thru my insurance UPMC that this office is conducting what is referred to as “balanced billing” and not even submitting procedures done on me w/ coding to my insurance and trying to make me pay out of pocket!! Complete fraud!! Imagine how many other patients (out of network they are ripping off for their own greed. No amount of niceness and dental work will ever be worth taking advantage of good ppl and fraudulently ripping them off for a Drs own wealth and greed- I don’t care who you are.

I feel bad for anyone else who has never gotten you itemized statements from Lisa or the office to verify what’s been done to you!! Know your rights!!

The very best dentist and staff I have ever been to. They are fantastic with cowards like me, and are incredible with my special needs children. I would never have my family go anywhere else. The only dentist who can put me at ease, and the professionalism of everyone in the office is unmatched. There's not enough stars to convey how wonderful they are!

I was so impressed with Dr. Schimmel and his staff at my first appointment. They are very kind and caring. Lisa, at the front desk is personable and welcoming. They took the time to listen to my dental history and concerns. The hygienist was skilled and gentle.

She stopped occasionally to see how I was doing. It was such a pleasant experience. I would recommend them highly! Thank you so much Dr. Schimmel and everyone in the office for a wonderful first visit. I highly recommend this dentist!
