Wow ..my favorite dentist in Indiana. If you need a dentist I highly recommend southern Indiana dental in sellersburg. I’ve always been scared of the dentist but they make you feel comfortable ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

While the dental team was fantastic (the doctor and her two assistants were so sweet and made me feel VERY comfortable), the accounting/reception staff completely ruined the experience for me, and I will never return. (I'm giving an extra star for the Doctor and her assistants) I initially visited for a root canal and was referred to a specialist- the procedure went smoothly. When I called to schedule my follow-up, I was quoted $524 out-of-pocket, which matched the paperwork I signed upon arrival. However, after the procedure, I was told I owed $940. I explained that I had just signed a document confirming the $524 estimate, but the receptionist (not Amber- this was an older one) claimed it was wrong and showed me a different estimate from my first visit ($940). Conveniently, the paper I had just signed two hours ago had disappeared. They couldn’t find it. I genuinely felt like I was being gaslit, especially when another staff member (a man in glasses) joined in to repeat the same claims. "You see your signature? You signed this. " "Yes, but where’s the paper I signed TODAY?" It was a never-ending conversation.
As someone whose first language is not English, I couldn’t help but feel they were trying to take advantage of me, but I stood my ground. I was not paying all that extra money. -->> If they had told me it would be over $900 BEFORE I got there, I would have simply chosen to do the procedure in my home country, where it would have cost me less than HALF that price. After repeatedly asking for the $524 document, it magically reappeared! Even though I kept my cool, I was furious. I felt so insulted. They looked at me like I didn’t know what I was saying. I paid the $524, and they said they’d handle the rest with my insurance, which indeed handled it wonderfully. I can’t pay for someone else’s expensive mistake, even if it was an honest one. While the dental team was amazing, the front office was unprofessional and handled this mistake poorly, which is why I won’t be coming back. I was not going to leave a review, but after receiving a $281.
52 bill MONTHS after my last visit, I feel compelled to share my experience. I called and kindly asked for an itemized bill- Amber politely said she’d check and get back to me. That was months ago. No one did, so I assumed it was a mistake. Now, nearly FIVE MONTHS after my visit, I get a text saying the balance is now $281. 53- one cent more. This only shows me they have no idea what they’re doing. I tried to call back and no one answers. Is this just how things work in the US, or is it just this clinic? Either way, it’s RIDICULOUS.
