Went to a general dentist with tooth sensitivity to cold and was referred to Dr. Spires. If you ever need a root canal - go to an endodontist. They literally specialize in diagnosing and repairing your tooth's roots. If you're in Bloomington, IN go to Dr.

Spire at SIE Root. He is so caring and comforting and his team is very helpful and kind. The star of the show is their advanced Gentle Wave machine that replaces the old fashioned method by using water to thoroughly clean your root canals. The process took a bit longer than expected due to my root system but I didn't feel any pain throughout the entire procedure. I felt a little pinch here and there during the numbing process but Dr.

Spires is so great at administering the shots with his "wiggle technique". Overall, great experience and if you need a root canal, don't wait. Trust me, the pain of needing a root canal is so much worse than the actual procedure. They also tell you the co-payment up front so you know what to expect financially.

Dr. Spires and his staff were the best! I was completely at ease and all the details were explained to me explicitly, and actually Dr. Spires discovered that I couldn't save the tooth with a root canal afterall due to other issues with my tooth. I would not go anywhere else for any future procedures should they be necessary! Thank you for making my visit comfortable!

Dr Spires and team are the BEST in performing pain-free root canals! I have had two root canals before and the pain afterwards was more than I could bear so going into another root canal was frightening! Dr Spires had such a calming presence and he talked me through the entire procedure explaining each step. He ensured the procedure would be painless and he was right, and afterwards….

a little soreness but nothing ibuprofen couldn’t handle! If you need a root canal this is the doctor to see! Thank you a million times over for such a great experience!
