I have visited Southern Shores on Atlas Rd many times. It's always a great experience. First off, there's Amie with her bubbly disposition to greet me as I enter the building. Then There is Mellissa who is hands down the best at cleaning I've ever experienced. And of course, the steady hand of Nadine the dental assistant with so much knowledge and experience supporting Dr. Lucas who always puts me at ease with her exceptional skill and chairside manner.

Obviously this isn't the first dentist office I've been to. But it is by far the best. I drive past a lot of other dentist offices on the way to Southern Shores. And plan to keep it that way. Thanks for making me feel welcome, comfortable, and safe everyone.

Today was my first time ever and my experience was the best at a dentist office! From first time paperwork, to walking around to getting my clean done. This entire process was well thought out and catered to the public! Thoughtful gifts to welcome someone new was also a plus! Thank you to the staff as everyone was extremely friendly and nice!

I have been going to southern shores for the past few years and also take my daughter. Kylie is incredible for my daughter as they talk about Disney and musicals. The closest thing to a Disney princess in real life. She is incredible with kids. Clifton is my hygienist (and has also seen my daughter) and he’s equally wonderful. Gentle, efficient and personable!

From the minute we walked in the door and were greeted by Amie, it was a great experience! I visited the Atlas road location. The building is very welcoming, with drinks and snacks available in the lobby with comfortable couches to sit on and toys for young ones to play with. I was taken back to the exam room, where I literally had the BEST cleaning of my life! Melissa is the best hygienist I have ever had. She made sure that every bit of plaque was off my teeth while offering easy suggestions for preventative care. There was no judgment, even though I admittedly am terrible at oral care.

Then Dr. Lucas came in to check everything out. She was very thorough when reviewing my X-rays and let me know what the long term plan of action was, as I have some problem areas. During the visit, there was a lot of laughing and discussion, it felt more like a hangout with good friends, that just happened to be checking my teeth. My three teenagers also remarked how nice of an experience it was.

The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. At the end of our appointments, we got an ample amount of samples in our goody bags! I highly recommend this office.
