My husband had an impacted wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Thompson in the Princeton office and has not stopped speaking about the excellent work she and her staff did. It was quite impacted after 50 + years. He stayed awake the entire time. Other than the soreness, he is doing well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Thompson. The office staff was pleasant as well.

Dr. Gilbert and his staff are friendly, courteous and professional. They made sure that I was comfortable and answered all my question the day of my procedure. I’d had an initial consultation with Dr. Gilbert, who fit me in within 24 hours when my dentist told me I “needed to see an oral surgeon as soon as possible” and during my consultation, which took place a couple days before my procedure, Dr. Gilbert patiently walked me through the options available medically and explained in detail the impact each might have both as a medical procedure and the potential consequences on my upcoming plans, which included air travel the following week.

He helped me reach a decision how best to proceed given all the variables involved. I would highly recommend Dr. Gilbert over any other oral surgeon in the state, and this is not the first time I have had him help me with an issue. His office is now located in Summersville and I am happy to make the short trip to Summersville to be treated by him, rather than use any of the oral surgery practices located in Charleston, as I know I will be getting the best possible care by an experienced physician…. not pawned off to the latest newly hired, fresh-out-of-school surgeon that some of the other larger practices utilize. Also, knowing that Dr.

Gilbert is on the Board which reviews and approves the anesthesia facilities set up by other oral surgery practices throughout the state of West Virginia gives me confidence that I will receive not only appropriate care, but the best care, any time a procedure requires full sedation. In short, Dr. Gilbert and his staff are a trustworthy, professional and personable group handling matters with the efficiency and care one would expect, but also with kindness and humor to make the experience as pleasant as possible. They have helped me through several serious oral surgical matters over the past 15-20 years, with kindness, care and professionalism that is unmatched anywhere else in the state.

Dr. Thompson and staff are wonderful! Very kind and explained everything extremely well to my son. This was the first time he had ever had numbing. He did great and I give credit to them because they prepared him very well! Thank you so much!!!

Appointments times are prompt and information is always explained in detail and all questions are throughly answered. Highly recommeneded!
