I will not be returning to this dental office. Despite sending multiple emails to both the front desk and management, I received little to no response, which I find highly unprofessional. According to my dental insurance provider, I was overcharged by more than $500. The office claimed that I needed to pay for desensitizing agents because they were not covered by insurance.

However, when I contacted my insurance provider, they informed me that the likely issue was incorrect billing codes submitted by the office. Even after accounting for the cost of desensitizing agents, the total charges remain significantly inflated. The lack of communication and the excessive charges make me feel as though I was taken advantage of. It's also concerning that my insurance benefits appear to have been maxed out, potentially due to the office submitting claims for more than they should have.

To be clear, these concerns are directed at the dental office's administrative and billing practices. I was very satisfied with the care provided by the dentist, who was both professional and attentive.

SPA Dental has a very kind and friendly staff, and I always felt well cared for during my visits. However, there were a few concerns that future patients may want to keep in mind. After a routine cleaning, I was told I had three cavities that needed to be filled as soon as possible, with a cost of around eight hundred dollars. This surprised me since my insurance covers my first seven fillings, and I had never had any before.

After moving, I visited a new dentist who reviewed everything and confirmed that I did not have any cavities at all, just deep grooves that did not require treatment. This may reflect a more aggressive approach to dental care, but it is important information for someone deciding whether to go here. I also consistently had to pay fifty dollars after cleanings, even though those were supposed to be covered by my insurance. I contacted my provider and they are currently looking into it.

While the staff was wonderful, I recommend asking questions and getting a second opinion before moving forward with more serious dental work.

Visiting the SPA Dental Group was a breath of fresh air, truly a relaxing experience overall. The staff there were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in the door. They explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, taking the time to address any concerns I had.

I left feeling confident in the care I received and will certainly be back for my future dental needs.
